  • @messi996: ahhhh here we go again...2 years later. Let me sum up. The comment you are referring to was a reply to an arrogant, ignorant comment by someone else, which was removed so my comment now lacks the original context. I don't even remember what it was about, honestly, I think my brain purged that bit of information to make room for more important things. :/

  • dynamic!

  • Fabulous colours of God's creation..

  • @michael85gizan yeah, shure, god..... don't make ma laugh

  • wtf is a morman

  • It's interesting that I left a reply to an extremely arrogant post over a year ago and suddeny everyone wants to jump my ass. Somebody's taking things entirely too seriously.

  • @gmizzac Depends on what's in the glass.

  • It's Real!

  • I like how the advertisement worked PERFECTLY and i STILL cant get this fucking video to load

  • @DakaSha I'm having the same damn problem! grrrrrrrrr

  • @divyabhartifan figures :(

  • I wonder what it would be like to be in the middle of that, of course saying that you could withstand the blast without being ripped apart, it looks like it would be quite a site.

  • All of u are FAGGOTS dont u have anything better to do than argue on youtube??

Get a life, live as beautifully as possible, be at peace with humanity and the universe

  • First... be at peace with yourself and start with coming out.

  • If we don't kill ourselves of then we will be long gone controlling other planets (inhabitabal or not) lolz

  • what the fuck, thats rubbish

  • yes, but SpaceChicken said in the Coop " feathers in space dont float"

    in the chapter, Moon Eggs.

    Praise be to SpaceChicken

  • aww bummer that our sun wont supernova sadly is doesnt have the mass for that itll just implode into a white drawf .

  • Yeah, its your butt-hole.

  • eventually what happened to that star will happen to our sun. When that happens this planet will be nothing but dust. Everything will be cremated.

  • Sorry to disappoint you, but our Sun will never turn a supernova.

  • uh, once our sun runs out of energy, it's gonna collapse and that will happen. So yeah, It's going to explode. buts thats thousands or millions of years from now. I think you mean a red giant or something like that.

  • More or less, but point is it's not going to explode as a supernova, so it won't produce anything like the star above - just a planetary nebula. Just have a look at the "life cycle" paragraph here: en-wikipedia-org-wiki-Sun

  • The Sun will eventually die, but in five billion (not thousand/million) years. It will not become a supernova, as it is not massive enough. It will swell into a red giant, yes, but rather than exploding, it will simply turn into a white dwarf, about the size of the Earth.

  • ya, anthony sorry to break it to you, but the sun will slowly expand into a red giant to the point where the earth will be inside it. its not gonna be a big explosion like a supernova. schwab and zigo got it.

  • Then why did you reply to me?

  • Actually, our Sun has about "5.5 Billion" more years left before it becomes a red giant.

  • I don't know if it's true, but I just read a book about planets and they mentioned that our sun will turn in a supernova in 5 billion years, I don't know if it's true or not ;

  • You misunderstood stg. As others have said, the sun will never turn into a supernova. It will swell into a red giant, then shrink into a white dwarf. This depends on the initial mass of the star and the sun is simply too small for turning into a supernova.

  • there's nothing to say it wont, if you ask me.. you will never know, neither will i.

  • sch, that isn't a very accurate book you have there. Our sun just doesn't have the mass to turn into a SuperNova. Only large stars will do that.

    --Editor Of Slemok

  • maybe, but we wont be here to witness it now will we

  • what a trite comment. of course "we" may not see it. but in the future remains "us". therefore "we" will see it but in the future and not presently. gosh, simple minded human, too selfish to transcend the boundaries of it's own minuscule life. you are gonna pass your genes on, aren't you? might wanna hold off on that..please..don't infect this world with your ignorance.

  • How arrogant to assume that humans will still be here on this planet in 5 billion years. Typical human arrogance. I'm sure we will have killed ourselves off by then. "gosh, simple minded human, too selfish to transcend the boundaries of it's own minuscule life"

  • to true to true+the amaricans are most of the arroganse shish humans will destroy planet after lanet with their greed for money.....money is the problem

  • @Sapphiregriffin retard

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne Foolish mortal

  • @swordscream Your just as mortal as all of us here dude...

  • @swordscream LOL!

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne

    Hehe transhumanist?

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne

this kind of criticism is part of the problem

  • @RP08FootSoldier My criticism? Cynicism, maybe. But criticism? never. I'm not the one who said "gosh, simple minded human, too selfish to transcend the boundaries of it's own minuscule life"

I'm just saying.... 5 billion years is a long time. There are SO many things that could destroy us before then. IF we can figure out how to live with each other here on this planet, then we may have time to start planet-hopping before our sun dies or our planet gets obliterated by some other event.

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne No offense, but YOU yourself are "human." So stop trying to sound high and mighty when in fact you are weak and pathetic like the rest of us.

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne Glass half empty azlynne?

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne Yeah. Typical human arrogance sailing to the unknowns, curing diseases, going to the space, computing algorithms, how dare they?

They should just sit on a tree like the retarded monkeys they are.

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne this is true, at the center of every galaxy is a black hole, which is why our galaxy looks like a spiral, so in atleast 1 million years time we will have been sucked into it, so we wont be here :)

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne uhm, and what contribution have you given you to humanity?

  • @theOneAndOnlyAzlynne what humans exactly think we will be here in 5 billion years(also 5 billion? your just copying and pasting a number and have no idea what you are on about itll be too hot her in 1-2 billion), most people dont understand a stairs life cycle so how can they be arrogant about the time we have left?

  • wow, that's pretty. (sorry i must sound rather ignorant, but it is pretty).

  • man u wont believe this but in our sun more than 1million earth can fit...man our planet is so small lol

and yeah another galaxy is colliding with ours :D

  • that green cloud looked like a frog or a slug or something...why do people see faces and "hidden" meanings in everything?

  • It's what our brains naturally do. As humans we try to understand things we don't, and seeing shapes in clouds and, in this case a supernova, is just one of the more basic ways we do that.

  • Like a little kid making monsters out of shadows in the dark.

  • now that is one loooong explosion :DDD

  • whats a suppernova? can any1 tell me?

  • Search the wikipedia. There is a good aticle on it. Cheers.

  • google is your friend...

  • a supernova is a star / sun that exploded after being an Red Giant if im right, our sun will do it to

  • yes thats right but in about 5 billion years

p.s. i wont be alive in 5 billion years no one will

  • No one will be alive in 5 billion years? Tell me more mr.i see the future!

  • Well, he is probably correct in that no one alive today will be alive in 5 billion years ;)

  • No, our sun's not big enough.

  • no it won't GH3Kurre,i watched national geographic!they said something else will happen!

  • @GH3Kurre lol nah, our sun is too small to be exciting, it'll certaintly well up into a red giant but it doesn't have enough mass to explode, it'll simply bleed away its outer layers

  • a star that turns as bright and hot like the sun and explodes then you will see debris

  • "as bright and hot like the sun"? - The sun is actually quite a small star, the bodies seen in studies such as this are so immense that our sun is but a pebble in comparison.

  • Kajarts, you are SEEING a super nova in this video!

  • 'Cappella star has gone supernova, I repeat the star has gone supernova. Hit your burners and head for the jump nodes. Goodspeed pilots' -Freespace 2

  • truly astonishing and beautiful

  • I DIVIDED BY ZERO

    OHSHI-

  • Oh Noooes!!

  • bring it on

  • its coming for us!!!! :-)

  • This is amazing

  • makes you wonder if there wasn't sentient ( pardon the spelling ) life near that when it wennt off? like that could be us.

  • There is nothing more epic than a supernova. Its beautiful, and destructive. Truly an even billions of years it the making, I feel lucky to be able to watch this video, sentient life has only witnessed this a few times.

  • so pretty 0_0

  • looks like a baby, kool

  • i thought themoved a hole lot faster then that

  • Wow, that thing must be really moving for there to be such visible changes from here.

Hmm, I'm doubting this imagery is the visible spectrum, probably one of those mixes of multiple spectrums. Now I'm going to have to go and look up its regular appearance.

  • i know its real but from 1997*when i was born :D*to 2000moved very little

  • wow;

they shouldve been doing this alot longer and then we would have like full length movies of galaxies and stuff in motion

  • sweet

  • Interesting.

  • wats a supernova?

  • its when a star exploads

  • Hi. Supernova is a star that have exhausted its core/internal mass due to the fussion reaction used to shine light its entire life. The inner layer/core can no longer hold the weight of the outter layer. Then the outter layer collapse and massive gravity made them compress; if the mass enough it then "exploded" into supernova. Some scientist say that if the mass passes certain limit it may even collapse into a mass that could started a singularity (black hole).

  • Your comment is very intelegent, I enjoyed reading it.

  • plez english lern nao

  • its a star explotion

  • kooyo (cool)

  • that must have exploded 6000 years ago or much, much more.

  • That shit is so big :O

  • Terrorist blew it up.

  • that doesn't make sense

  • HaHa snoopdog

  • sooo what did cassiopia explode??

  • Thanx for posting!

  • 0:56 ....the white dot that have see is the star?!?!?!? :sss

  • um cool

  • i dont understand

  • I want to touch it :D

  • a star

  • first!!!!

  • omg

  • A violently exploding star.

  • wow IM USING WINDOWS 7 AND ITS REALLY COOL

  • wow, that is something really cool

  • Woah...

  • wth is that

  • Amazing.

  • I guess this is the best footage they can get for it,but if they're going to show a loop of a supernova, they could at least give us some dialogue or even some damn music.

  • How does a Nova create those corlors?

  • When a star goes nova it releases several different kinds of elements, which react differently with light, which causes an array of visible colors.

  • because of the gasses from it

  • Technically, it doesn't make "colors" like that. I believe these images were captured in the x-ray spectrum. During processing, they interpret the different wavelengths into colors that we can actually see. But what you're actually seeing is the gases from the outer layer of the star being heated by friction as they expand away at several thousand kilometers per second.

  • That's incredible!

  • man the universe is so beautiful and so amazing!!!!

  • No u.

  • Why Isn't that pretty :D
