Donations paid by YOU get him his "honors," monuments, honorary degrees and different things named after him. The "honors" are bought and negotiated through headquarters PR people. The Daishonin would NEVER have asked for money, so that he could have monuments built honoring himself. Nichiren said follow The Law, not a person!!!!!

This is my quest...He is my sensei...I have practiced for 40 years...because of this man...My daughter is receiving Gohonzon this week...I do not even want to be there because of the bs from SGI...who inscribed her Gohonzon...some layman? Who is she following? It is a mystery to me/

@kehau96701 Most of the old timers from NSA have left the Gakkai, when trying to idealize Mr. Ikeda as a true exampls, was no longer possible. His slander of GMW --- and the SGI USA slander of GMW is dispicable. You also have to keep in mind that Mr. Ikeda and Nikken destroyed the unity together. In japan the Gakkai is still very rich, but active membership is counted by Komeito votes. Numbers dropped to an eighth of former active members.

Isn't it ironic, in light of the false accusations being made against George M. Williams, that the correct answer to one of the questions on the recent SGI-USA study exam about persecutions befalling a votary of the Lotus Sutra, was FALSE ACCUSATIONS!

"False accusations are the prime catalyst behind persecution. Conspirators, building a case on lies, align themselves with those in power. The latter are deceived—or perhaps merely pretend to be deceived—and then use these lies to justify ousting someone they regard as a troublemaker."
See what I mean by irony? It is totally unacceptable for the SGI to treat George M. Williams in this manner. ..in fact it is "hard to believe"!

He had once spent a few hours in jail for election fraud. He was over zealous and Mr. Toda got him out of the trouble. He is not Nichiren. He has been essentially a dictator in the org. His word goes. Period. This is Nichiren Buddhism not Ikedaism.

If you believe in Nichiren Diashonins Buddhism, then you would chant Daimoku to the Gohonzon and ask for clearity when it comes to this issue.
