  • amazing....!

i have not enough the words to explore...

  • "Deen Tight" is this the N.W.O. agenda for the muslims. His LP is called "Ghetto Messiah" Messiah! Allah gave that name to Nabi Isa (ALAYS SALLAAM) this zionist puppet is making a mockery of our deen. WAKE UP!

  • But Malcolm was a spiritual warrior too, I mean he practiced Islam in his later years. And then just looking at the character of Issa Alayhi Salam, (the word) Messiah, what it means is like a wiping, a touching of something. And so with music, we're trying to touch people. We're trying to get people to see that change is necessary, and we're trying to touch them with music, but the music, the message is Islam.

  • But what we're trying to get people to see is that Jesus or Issa (Alayhi Salam, he was apart of this foundation of Islamic monotheism. And so if we follow what came after Issa, that's prophet Muhammad, Salallahu Alayhi Wassalam (Peace and blessings be upon him) and that means the solution is Islam. In some other pieces, "Messiah", "Ghetto Messiah", was a term thrown on Malcolm X by the FBI, the CIA with the co-intel pro in the late 60's and so, it brings that political struggle to it.

  • And so these people are struggling; they're catching everything. And those are the people that desperately need the change the most. And the other portion of it, "Messiah", that brings in what I really feel is the solution which is a spiritual change. And so I'm using that term

because it's a word that we know in English extremely well, and people know it as a spiritual term. They automatically think of Jesus or Issa, Alayhi Salam (Peace be upon him).

  • That's not what it's about. In my opinion, Ghetto Messiah is actually a formula, it's a formula for change. "Ghetto", the first portion of it, focuses on a social setting and that setting where people are, is usually that they're in underpriviledged, high poverty areas, that are politically unrepresented.

  • im speechless. what are Muslims thinking?

  • I like thinking Muslims

  • In the purpose of understanding your argument, what do you find wrong in this video specifically? I'm just curious. I see many wrongs as well, but I just want to know.

  • first off is the music. and the style of music. musical instruments (excluding the duff) haraam. 2nd the style of music is imitating a genre of music which promotes promiscuity, drugs, violence and crime life. i mean i could go on and on about the things wrong with this video. but youtube only allows 500 characters.

  • The permissibility of music is something that can be debated at best. Your contention that this song is promoting promiscuity and drugs is amusing, because all this song talks about is being strong with the deen. I personally don't like this video, but at least their lyrics are better than 50 cent or the game. And I'm positive if an official fatwa was given confirming the impermissibility of music in Islam, these artists would drop it in an instant. I know because I know some of them.

  • i did not say the song was promoting those things i was saying the genre of which the music is. which is rap. fatwas have been giving out about music yet they continue to take heed to the truth. many sheikhs have told artist like sami yusef what they are doing is haraam but they refuse to believe and stop.

just because you give a horse water doesn't mean they'll drink it.

  • i agree... i personally like spoken word poetry (i.e. brother dash, gaith adhami) and nasheeds with the daff. You must also be careful in regards to using the word haram.

  • Im irritated. WHat are judgemental assholes(you) thinking?

  • are you even Muslim? Because if you are you shouldn't be using such foul language and calling your sister in Islam a name like that. You may not agree with what i said but not once did I swear. So you shouldn't do it either.

  • Ok mom haha. But you were judging, were you not, so allow me to do the same. call'em like I see'em.

  • i don't have a problem with being called judgmental. my problem was with you swearing at me. no where in my post did i use swear words. so i would like the same courtesy.

  • Honestly, I don't care what you do and do not have a problem with. When you make generalizations about a group of people you are use asshole tendencies. Wether or not your are muslim does not make it right for you to criticize groups as a whole because this music video is not a representation of the whole muslim community but the words of a few. Watch your words and I will do the same...;-))
