  • you may know how to overclock, but not how to do a video

  • is this stable= so can you run the pc 24 hours without getting mistakes or the cpu becoming too hot?

  • Hey.. I wanted to see your temps and vcore. Under stress, not idle..

  • I've had my old 1.8GHz overclocked to 3Ghz for 5 years also, still running strong.

  • Lol I've had a MPGA socket 478 3.0 ghz processor overclocked to 4.0 ghz for about 5 years till a capacitor went bad on my motherboard... overclocking does not necessarily mean your CPU is going to give out in a matter of months.

  • have fun having your CPU burn out in 2 months idiot

  • @hawaiinguy12 wrong if u have a good CPU Cooler this should not be an issue i had my 2500k at 5.2GHz and it was not passing 68C on my NH D14

  • @warlacozte yes i do run a 30 gig ssd for my os. I'm just amazed it makes that much of a difference. I'm very impressed with the overclock just the same. Mine is at 4.8 ghz with lower voltage (can't remember exactly right now because I'm on my phone). I'm going to revert back to stock settings soon though, because at stock my CPU doesn't reach maximum load so I'd like to preserve the longevity of the processor.

  • Hey dude,Whats your CPU Cooler?

  • @Metalicalypse its a Cooler Master Hyper TX-3 only cost like 20$

  • dare u to do that in stock heat sink.. lol

  • I'm not sure why yours loads slowly, but my biostar z68 board loads windows in less than 15 seconds.... have mine OC'd to 4.8 ghz and tested stable with Intel burn test.

  • @IamKurr im guessing you have a ssd drive, he is using a hdd witch loads it slower

  • And whats the WEI scores for the CPU @ 5ghz?

  • How hot does it get?

How long can it last on 5ghz without any problems?

  • my god that is slow

  • windows 7 is still slow hahahahahahaha

  • I need help, info, a direction of guru's that can advise on *underclocking*. We wish to build a server that will be powered by an M4-ATX (250Watt) 12VDC power supply and run from Solar / Wind / battery. Currently we are looking at the Intel i5 - 2500K CPU. But if there is a better option let us know! We wish to be able to drop the Wattage consumption down as low as possible during low reserve power situations. Contact us at shazam.zapto.org click *Contact* for info. or vk4akp@yahoo.com.au

  • @vk4akp AMD APU

  • Hey man i justbought this: CPU: NEW! Intel Core i5 2500K @ 4.7Ghz CPU Cooler: NEW! Xigmatek HDT-S963 Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Motherboard: NEW! Gigabyte Z68A-D3 Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 4GB) Hard Drives: NEW! 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s Second hard drive: NEW! 500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB 500 Ximatek PSU think itll run good?
  • @TurbineProductionsX No, it will lagg every second. Why are you buying when don't know or it will run good? Of course it will run good..

  • @TurbineProductionsX Nope, it will be horrible, 2FPS per second on most games sorry.

Of course it will, but you're just ignorant.

  • there was no need to pass 1.45v to overclock that high. you could do it probably alot less volts.

  • @clarencelanguage1 how i cannot even get to freaking 4.8GHZ on 1.43v help please? what am i doing wrong.

  • @Mooseguy15 Some chips wont go above 4.2GHz, its all luck whether you get a CPU that can reach 5.2GHz or one that can only reach 4GHz.

  • Wont be long before it dies :P

  • @SnowysProductions lol, yeah yeah..that's what everyone says. Remember, a shortened life doesnt mean it will die in weeks, it will still take years to kill a chip. No doubt. Everyone told me I'd fry my old Core i7 950 to all hell running it at 4.5Ghz and almost 1.6V, survived just fine for two years constant overclock :) I do understand that these chips are a little more fragile though.

  • i need opinion from a few ppl please on this....

im planning on oc'ing it to 4.5ghz with a cooler master hyper 212 plus ...wat i wanna know is...how long can it run stably without blowing up ...even if sometimes i use it even for 24hr+ purposes...i want my setup to last for about 2-3 more years :(...please guys suggest

  • @durjoymukherji I'm running my 2500k at 4.5GHz right now at just 1.328v! I have a Corsair H50 hooked up to it, and I usually get a max temp of like 63 degrees Celcius. You shouldn't get too high above that with your cooling, so you should be able to run it 24/7 without any problems, like myself.

  • @calculatorboyqwe I am running a similar settup to you, could you tell me exactally what you did to overclock?

  • @kylometa72

Depends on your motherboard and BIOS mate.

  • 99mhz on the fsb? You might be able to get another 5% overclock out of your system...

  • @Metalicalypse Intel i5 2500k is the latest and best performing processor currently available, among with its brother i7 2600k. It's about 39% faster than any AMD.

  • Is this better in gaming than the AMD Phenom x6 1090T ?

    Thanks.

  • what is your memory ram mhz?? 1333? or 1600?

    i have 1600mhz

    and cpu i5 2500k

    and z68x-ud4-b3

and the system is up on memory to 1333mhz no 1600mhz... why pleaseee?

  • Vcore?

  • cool story bro

  • what cooler is this running? Stock?, what OC can i expect with a corsair H50

  • @clondan1 lol you cant get 5.2 on stock cooling.

  • @clondan1 None The h50 does not support 1155, you will need to buy an h60.

  • @jesus1poptart what are you talking about... corsair h50 supports 1155

  • @jesus1poptart Yes it does. You just use the 1156 socket model with a couple modifications.

  • ela re eladara !!! file pli kalo video.

  • i can oc the 2500k with ga-p67a-ud4?

  • jajaj kiss my ass AMD

  • But will it blend?

  • @MyMerlin1 Try a Prime95 blend test to find out.

  • What is the program you used to calculate pi?

  • Please can you update the information to state what type of cooler you are using. thanks

  • EXCESSIVE QUESTION MARKS: THE NEW CAPS LOCK??????

  • This is a test,

that's why i am not using an SSD but a simple 7200.11 Barracuda hard drive. It's not the actual system i am using, anyway this is a test...

  • the same question... what voltage is it on 5.2 ghz ????

  • You are right about that... i am sorry,

when i did the video i thought everything was fine.

The voltage i used was a little higher than 1.45V.

  • @GHzgr 5.2 on 1.45 volts? wow

  • @GHzgr whats the music?

  • why dont you show the cpu voltage under load even one single time in the video???????????? what voltage is it on 5.2 ghz ????
