When I was like. 8, I used to love this song. I told my mom to put it on ALL the time when we were in the truck together. I never unerstood it, even when she tried to explain. Now it kind of makes me want to cry.
This song makes me think of my dad. He got divorced a long time b4 i was born. She remarried and it was hard for him to give up his old life he had been so committed to.

He made contact evry once in a while When my mom remarried my dad never made contact again. in 2004, my dad passed away of an accidental overdose. He was cremated so I never even got to say goodbye. My mom divorced my stepdad, so now my boyfriends dad is the one I go to when I want to talk to a father figure. He's is gonna b the one to walk me down the isle. Bt it will never replace the longing for my real father to be here for me.
I wish my dad cared so much. he left my family when i was six and stopped making contact when 8 now im almost 18 and he hasnt even tried to contact us and we live in the same house =(
i am so sorry you are going thru this. i'm the husband and dad going thru this and i'm still fighting to win her back. stay strong and dont be afraid to speak up. your important and your thoughts matter. your probably the only one thinking logically right now. adults make bad decisions without thinking first!
