I liked this video. It has inspired me to get out my juiceman, jr. and have a go at it myself. I appreciated the simple approach of showing and not talking, but I saw many opportunities to make this video hilarious as well as informative. I would encourage you to consider making an alternative video that includes some sight gags and tell some jokes as you explain how to do this. Good luck!
Could anyone recommend a more cost effective jiuicer? I have never done this before but wanted to start, and don't want to go for a top of the line juicer right off thebat.
@Trenchgun97 I have a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer delux and it works great. I got a vita Mix recently and also happy with its results but their 2 differnt types of juicers.
Thanks for the V8 juice video! I LOVE V8 and it's really healthy for you. I buy the low sodium kind and the spicy one, but now I want to invest in a juicer and make my own like you do. You look healthy, too! Thanks!
@Randomawesomesauce studies show you should drink it right away because the nutrients oxidize and apparently get reduced by 90% within minutes, you should never make more juice then you can drink right away. If you can not do that, then buy some glass jars and seal them tightly immediately and drink them by the end of the day.
cool, i have a couple of questions. 1. What kind of juicer is that? (exactly) 2. What was that picture of red juice you picked up from off the floor? I posted this to my facebook, emailed and favorited it. awsomeness.
@llongoria0 The juicer is a Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite, there's a link to the juicer on Amazon in the description. The juice I picked up from the floor was the first mixture of the V8. I believe it was cabbage, beet, garlic, and celery. Glad you enjoyed the video I appreciate the support!
You are going to destroy that juicer by pressing down so hard on the chute. If you read the manual it tells you to never push harder than just the weight of the hand. If you need to press harder then cut the stuff up smaller first or put less in.
Worcestershire for juice! ..didn't see that coming xD good vid, now I want a Breville juicer too, it didn't splatter or shoot vegies back up like some negative reviews on amazon said
@songofyesterday You DON'T put worcestershire in the V8 when you're mixing it in a juicer and it's not in the product. You put the worcestershire in the bloody mary you make with the V8. Worcestershire tastes nasty and would ruin the v8 juice.
I'm going to try your recipe next time. I made some today and it was very bland and thick!

@Trenchgun97 I started off with a waring jex328 it's cheap but kind of a pain to clean. I hear that the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer isn't bad.

@Trenchgun97
Do you have a blender? Then you have a juicer. Go buy some paint strainers at home depot and hand squeeze the juice.

Thanks for the idea buddy. I will give that a go. How long does it keep in the fridge?
kymbo72 9 months ago
@kymbo72 Thanks for watching! It only keeps for 2-3 days at the most. I wouldn't recommend going any longer than that.

@Randomawesomesauce OK great, thanks for that.

Because I don't have a juicer I usually boil my vegetables first then but them in a blender. xD

How does it taste compared to commercial V8 bud. I drink a lot of V8 juice; I love it. It would be cool to make my own.
Thanks

@suds42 I personally like the taste of my own better than commercial V8. Plus the health benefits from making your own are amazing.
