Northwall and Aitos were my favorite action stages in the game. I'm gonna have to go play it again and try to finish the game completely. My population isn't completely maxed out yet.
Ah yes, good ole' ActRaiser, what a fantastic game that was, and the music was really something else, Northwall Act 1 actually sounded more soothing than anything, and it somehow eerily fit the mood of the level itself. Great gameplay vid!
Indeed, Yuzo Koshiro is a very talented composer who really pushed the SNES sound hardware's limits with this title; the Act Raiser score is just epic. If you enjoy the music in this game, I would recommend checking out an album called "Act Raiser Symphonic Suite". It's all of the songs in the game rearranged and played by a live orchestra under Yuzo's direction. It sounds phoenomenal, and pretty much defines epic.
I agree. The ironic thing is, unlike many symphonic arrangements of video game tracks, the ones from the CD sound strikingly similar to those in the actual game. He did an outstanding job mimicking real instrumentation.

I like the music in this level, though it's VERY religious! Infact, I think it's the most religious video game music I've ever heard
