  • is the opening tune from Friday the 13th for NES?

  • i doubt it was how the actual game was gunna be if its a HD its probaly the developers the game as well as everything in for it on it etc is on there it may not even be complete

  • im going to suppose this is why the gamecube/wii emulator for pc was called dolphin

  • couldn't xgra have been an xtreme-g game?

  • Alright, who broke into Nintendo's Offices?

  • WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS RARE DELICACY?!

  • im going to assume not for sale?

  • i had one of those, it was blank, got it for 15bucks.

  • My friend just link this to me.. :D You are Lucky sob..

  • lol, "discs"

  • Dolphin carts looked like a bloody whale, those would have been crazy! Also, I really miss those old Nintendo carts.

  • @redroversk

They would have never been released in that form. It was hard drives inside the carts for the development team. It was meant to give the developers a taste of having the load the games over and over again. Too many developers develop a game and not give a shit about the load times. Nintendo wanted developers to remember this, going into a disc-based system, so they used hard drives for the dev kits.

When the game was finished, it went onto disc.

  • would you mind dumoing roms and bios to developers to make emulators and roms?

  • So the dolphine system was a beta system, was this system just sold to a small number of people to test the system or something? Because most of the time its just used for developers. But it seemed like more than developers had this system. Unlike the Xbox developer computer system.

  • It used freakin' hard drives!?

  • @ASSEMblerEX If it's over 30$ then no

  • My friend has the system but sadly no games. Would you be willing to sell one of the games?

  • @Luigifreakout123 Yeah but it's sorta expensive.

  • Where the hell do you get these nintendo prototype units???

  • Would be nice to see some footage of these games.

  • would u mind playing the damn thing??

  • just found your channel and I love stuff like this!

Subscribed and waiting for new vids

  • how you get'em ???

  • I was always wondering how they develop games for non-PC platforms. I thought it was by using some emulators, but your videos shed some light on subject. Thanks! I subscribed hoping you can show some more of that dev stuff

  • im sure these game paks would get lots of dust because of those lines it has

  • EBaY $50 to 90

  • Where did you get these?

  • jeez y wont anyone actually play the nintendo dolphin? :(

  • where do you get this stuff???

  • Your little mini rant near the end about BMX XXX made me laugh hard. I wish you'd have more funny stuff like that in your vids

  • Dude I want to see some of this stuff turned on and working. Believe me that's how you get views it's a pain in the ass finding videos of people using this stuff instead of just showing it to us.

  • thank god they didn't go this way

  • dolphin was the newer version of the DD.

  • Show some gameplay!

  • I had ATV Quad power Racing 2 for the gamecube. I don't anymore, it was a pretty good game.

  • I saw one of these go on ebay with the title of "Challenge Earthbound". Any Idea on that game in particular?

  • i never even knew about nintendo dolphin till now. cheers for the vid :)

  • @priyahthewhite Nice to show people some new things!!

  • @ASSEMblerEX yeah thanks again :)

  • @priyahthewhite dolphin was the gamecube prototype

  • I think people who developed the Dolphin emulator actually cracked that encryption.Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they had to do it.

  • was that parasite eve music at the end?

  • XGRA FUCK YEAH! Tell me more about this version!

  • 4:20 dolphin with Nintendo penis.

  • There is some way to dump the game and run in somewhere??? I'm so excited on these games. Nice Job!

  • Try poastin some info of he betas on Unseen 64. Maybe you will get more views.

  • @ASSEMblerEX Proud to be one of the 500! :-)

  • How about some gameplays of those protos mate?

  • Thanks for the video assembler, if your feeling tired, stressed, depress or whatever then please take a break from making vids if you need. But remember there are a lot of us out there, from all around the world, that really appreciate and love your videos.

  • Do you advertise your videos to any sites? Granted there isn't a huge audience for people who are interested in beta/unused stuff, but the people who are, we really enjoy your videos!

  • @abarna01 It's just the core audience I guess. 500 people around the world who "get it".

  • @ASSEMblerEX How realistic is it to buy an old dev kit for an N64 or PS1 and expect to make games for it as a programming practice or something?

  • @ASSEMblerEX mate there's 501 now

  • @abarna01 right, he got a tweet by unseen64.he should contact that site and spread the word!

  • amazing, thank you so much for all these videos!!

    we really appreciate it

  • holy crap. I thought assembler died! x( great to see you back!

  • Thanks a lot for ur work its amazing to be able to see this stuff.

  • There is no need to apologize at all for your so called lack of enthusiasm. If anything all of us owe you a thank you for putting up these amazing videos.

  • thank god they didn't go with these cartridges They would of cost like $70

  • Comment removed

  • can you make a video on these games working? like to see something like that.

  • @dude22072 ton of work for 500 views

  • @ASSEMblerEX ???

  • @ASSEMblerEX

Those are 500 extremely happy and greatful views, I assure you!

  • @ASSEMblerEX Meh. You talk as if it were important. Look at me. 835 subs, and I get 100 views if I'm lucky, yet I keep making videos anyway. Gamers like me and reviewers like you aren't exactly gonna attract the biggest audience. It doesn't bother me, so why let it bother you. Just don't make the video and feel like it's a burden or anything. Make it over time and do it when you feel comfortable. It's tedious, but it isn't as much work as you make it out to be.

  • @ASSEMblerEX : Chicken or the egg man! I love your vids and will watch but for all you know that kinda thing will go viral at some forums or something and then you're gettin' paid.

  • @ASSEMblerEX Your videos are like good dessert. I always cut some time for myself before watching them to fully enjoy the experience.

  • @ASSEMblerEX Yes, cause plugging a console into a T.V. and turning it on is sooo hard to do.

  • @ASSEMblerEX Is not that hard to plug the AC adaptor and one cable to the dolphin and on the tv and just do 3 or 5 minutes of gameplay, let me say what are you in 4 letters, LAZY, and i don't think would be 500, because if was that, even the other videos, specially these two of the nintendo dolphin would get the same treatment (500 views), you got that excuse just to be lazy.

  • love all these new videos man keep em goin

  • Your freaked lucky, I have been looking for NPDP cartridges forever, for my NPDP GDEV.

  • Where and how do you get all this stuff? I'd love to have gems like this! :(

  • @fmgaluda but he have a lot of responsability to preserve this as it is.

We could see this images runing? ^_^

  • @Ragezort

The cartridge it's self, and any other of the amazing hardware pieces he has, are the gems I'm reffering to! Not thegames on the carts!

  • 2nd

  • @MathewWii YOU LIE!
