Why do you always let the enemy attack first instead of letting eliwood?

Because if I did, Eliwood would die.
(Attacking the enemy on player phase gives them the chance to get a hit on Eliwood before enemy phase.)

Wow. Crap. You actually did it. That was Ella lucky, and on hard mode too. Shit. Well done. I didn't even think it was POSSIBLE. Even WITH savestates. I sure as hell couldn't have done it.
