This sounds ridiculous to ask, But as an E-2 how much money did some of you return home with. I'm talking about the 3.5 months you were at Benning. What was sitting in your bank account after taxes when you got home 3,500? 4,000? Maybe 5,500? I know it's possible I'm just curious. I don't have exact numbers, and that's what I want. man when I went through Knox in 02 we werent able to wear MOP gear in there and the DS's told us to take a left when we came out and in our delirious/half blind state half of us ran into a big tree that was immediately to our left. Had the DS's busting out laughing. This video brings back memories...kinda weird feeling nostalgia for that time though.
When we came out we had to hold our rifle in one hand, our ach in the other with arms fully extended and eyes open or else you were gonna do it again. And if you dropped anything in there you weren't allowed to pick it up. We had one guy who dropped his weapon, and when he went back through it was disassembled. After about 90 sec of trying to put it back together he passed out. My honest opinion is that the gas chamber really sucks...but then its over, the sensation goes away in about a minute.
@FrankDeSonia11B dude all i can say is stick to yourself..make sure you get plenty of mail and don't trust anybody except the drill sergeants..u can work as a team with them but unfortunately there is going to be those 3-4 assholes that fuck it up for everyone..and then that kid who will talk about how he gets "layed" all the time and how he has "done a lot of shit he regrets" we had one named wiggins,. i hope 2 never see that stupid fucking redneck again..the DS's HATED him sooo much 2
