  • OMG they are so ultra Kawaii!!

  • AWW i want one...

  • little rascals

  • The food that your feeding is unhealthy, you should feed pellets that are fortified for a chinchillas diet. Pet stores will sell you anything, because they know that they won't have to pay for the vet bills when their products make your animals sick or even worse kill them.

  • my chinchilla sometimes lays down on his side...is that normal??

  • When is the appropriate time to handle baby chins?

  • @CharlieXrotti I think the best time would be after the mummy chin cleans them up and their fur dries and become fluffy. Tangyuan knows us well- she does not show any aggressive signs when we touch the babies so we went ahead to say hello to the little ones!

  • My chinchilla's name is Mushu as well!

  • Morshu? BOMBS?!?!

  • OMG I NEED 1!

  • I got my chinchilla at

    Petsmart lol

  • oh mah gawd SO CUTE!!!!!!1 WANT WANT WANT WANT

  • I have an ebony black chinchilla. His name is Mushu too ^^

  • aww! okay to be honest i am terrified and anxious right now lol

i have a chinchilla named Baby and she should be having her kits any time this month. reason why i am scared is that she might have triplets! but if she does, it'll prolly go away because they are so cute :)

  • poor mom.

  • my chinchillas are 5 months old i think that they are too young to bring babies

  • i would totally have the grey and white one!

  • I've been searching for a white chinchilla every where, Ive got my heart set to find a white one. /Sigh

  • @hersheys1214 - don't expect to find one in a pet store. A professional breeder is your best bet of finding one. I own a silver one myself, but she looks white. I got her from a professional breeder.

  • my black chin is due in a few weeks, she s gettin big and restless, strange behaviour, she keeps sprinkling me with urine whenever i try to reach into her cage, she s pretty scared too, so i try not to disturb her.

  • the litle grey and white one has an unusual fur pattern, but i love it. i wish my chin had such a nice fur patten.

  • all the baby chins that I've had have such interesting colours that I'm so curious how they will turn out each time! It is just a lovely surprise

  • i never hear this sounds befor :) ist cute

  • yes they make noises all the time...tis' rather funny!

  • my chin is getting quite fat but i didn't count or note the time or date. does anyone have any info about behavior when she's a week or so away? i really appreciate any help. regards for a nice video!

  • Aww so cute! How do you know its a girl or a boy in such young ages? My chinchilla has given birth. But I can't tell if it's a girl or a boy. ^^

  • boys have rounder faces+ bigger noses, and girls have pointed faces+ smaller noses =)

  • I see! Thank you! ^^

  • @minitotoro - thats not true - you cannot tell a chinchillas sex without inspecting their genitals. Males will have a small space between the penis and anus, females will have no space between their anus and urethal cone

  • @Jmoog - Exactly!

  • @Jmoog This is correct. I hope the poster figured that out! My boy chinchilla doesn't have a big nose at all so um...not super accurate.

  • how long does the pregnancy last?

  • about 3 months

  • thanks!

  • sure thing!

  • the mom is cute!

  • thanks!

  • how old was your chinchilla when it gave birth?

  • she was 1 year old when she had her first babies=)

  • The babies weigh around 45g each before birth...who knows you might have 3 little furry balls as well!

  • Mine just had 3 new baby boys last Friday! Hope yours arrive soon

  • oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh toooo cute!!!

  • my chinchilla had babys a few times but my chinchilla is grey

  • haha tangyuan is a great chinchilla name, they do kinda look like them.

  • What a great chin family... they're all so pretty : )

  • Ooooh my gosh. What beautiful little babies. Beautiful mommy too. :)

  • Thanks!

  • As they grow up they squeak less and less, now at 1 month old they squeak very rarely! At 3 weeks' old they are already nibbling on grass.

  • I love the little squeaks, I always wished adults squeeked like that :)
