  • he look skinny and unhealthy, which kinda remind me of steve jobs 6 month before his demise. i wonder how much day he has left....

  • BILL GATES FATHER WAS A LAWYER AND HIS FAMILY WERE MILLIONARES

HE GATE PUT UP THE START UP MONEY FOR MICROSOFT , THAT WHY!@

  • @evalsoftserver : Not true. Bill's father would only fund for him to be a lawyer. He was 100% against MicroSoft. MicroSoft was not founded by Gates. Allen founded the company. Allen came up with the company name, Allen made the first sale. Allen got Bill to develop. Windows was Allen's idea, not Gates.

Get your facts straight. Gates was a prodigy. He scored a 1590 on his SATs, but in no way did he come up with the business model for MicroSoft.

  • 1-21-2012. Ain't it fine, ain't it fine? Paul is 59. Happy Birthday, Paul.

  • never married eh....maybe because he's nuts

  • First world problems: They call 6:40 being angry.

  • its funny seeing him and gates walking down a random street, in a random estate together. 2 of the ricest men in the world just strolling down the road! you almost forget they are human too

  • i wonder why gates thought he should have 60% surely it would initially be 50 50

  • This man is GOLD.

  • Very interesting man.Shame he's dead now. Before anyone asks why,I'll just go ahead and tell you.

I killed PAUL ALLEN with an AXE in the FACE,his body is dissolving in a bath tub in Hell's Kitchen!!!

  • @LZJoZ TRY GETTING A RESERVATION AT DORSIA NOW YOU FUCKING STUPID BASTARD!

  • Paul Allen is such a little bitch

  • i think bill is the bitch. I mean trying to get a bigger share when paul did 60% of the work.

  • Let's see Paul Allen's card.

  • @234930 I love you.

  • very nice interview!! , its always hard to say who did the most for a company in the early days, but i think Microsoft wouldn't exits without one of them SO thank you Bill and Allen, its also good to invest all that money back in the world and economy, the best would be to invest the most of it in sustainable things (investing in the future)

  • Being a billionaire seems like kind of a pain in the ass. You have to worry about your money, and ultimately you only live as long as you live, you sleep in one bed at a time, roll around on 4 wheels, fly the same speed as anyone else...and the poor guy doesn't have a wife. I'd like a hanger full of planes but really, what are you supposed to do with that.

I get the feeling that some of these rich guys end up spoiled and kind of out of touch with regular humanity.

  • God damn is the audio quality poor on these clips. Sounds like she's talking inside a giant harmonica.

  • Got to thank Paul. He is got me a job.

  • Paul Allen is the coolest Billionaire there is this guy is the bollocks and loves to enjoy life fair play to him .

  • From his body language, it doesn't seem like he wants to get married. He seems like a mamas boy. Then again, with all his money, why get married? Why buy the cow when you can get the milk?

  • @bostongirlsandy tot eat the cow ?

  • another person with those same interests that would read this and say, "Hey, cool, and they would write and we would talk about aleins, or quantum physics or what's new in brain research! Those to me are all fantastic things ... and someone who's interested in music ... could handle classical as well as rock & Irish, Scottish, Belly dancing music like I do. So is it obsessive to want to meet someone with all those similiar interests? Maybe You Tube isn't the way, but it's here-why not use it

  • So be it, if you think it is an obsessive thing to write to Paul Allen a long letter on you tube well then I guess that is your opinion. If something interests me, I do my best within my means to pursue it, most of the time nothing comes of it. It's not that I don't like people just find small talk to be boring, sorry, and I don't meet people that I really would like to continue to talk to. He seems like a person that I would really like, as a friend anyway. And maybe there would be

  • about it, you take an action, if nothing comes of the action, at least you can say you tried.

  • Trying to delete what I wrote, deleted it once and it won't delete.

Why is obsessive when you want to write to someone that you have stuff in common with? I mean seriously, how often do you find people you have tons in common with? We all know, including myself the chances of meeting someone THAT famous is virtually impossible anyway, but I don't think it's bad either to put it out there otherwise, what's the point? If you want anything in your life to happen, you can't always just think

  • really hard every day. I think education is the answer to many challenges and I really really really dislike the words (Idi_t and Stu_id) and think they shouldn’t be used to describe a person ever. You probably have read about the research and negative words and their effect on a person. That really disturbed me when I heard Bill Gates talk to his employees that way on a documentary. I found that very disheartening. Sorry if you use those words but I find them very bad; rather

  • I don't like country music unless it's old – Johnny Cash – Patsy Cline ... am very diverse in my music tastes so we probably don't have the music thing in common - although I did like the music I saw you play. Went to see Led Zepplin in ’76 and love the Isley Brothers – grew up partly in Canada, then at 10 in Evanston, IL – LOVE lakes and oceans. Still have a home in Canada from my grandmother – but it has deteriorated big time. Mostly I work, don’t make money like you do, but try

  • they have money expecting that everyone is wanting that. Paul if you read this, I want to make my own money and not be beholdin' to anyone. Was a single parent that put myself through University, had my heat and electric cut, I don't know how many times. The idea of a credit rating is an imaginary beast to me and what I care most about is finding someone that I care about and that cares about me, besides my children (two boys - one loves basketball - the other robotics engineer, inventor guy

  • because he’s too bloody famous and rich - but I'm a firm believer in the weird and unlikely - I'm a BIG fan of the theory of Quantum Superposition although I was a Bio major who wanted to study sponges and the dolphin brain and language - couldn't decide. I have always wondered if there was someone out there that I would match with and he just seems like we have so much in common. The money is always an issue giving that I have none and he has too much - people get so careful when

  • (My spelling by the way is horrible for an English Science major ... Paul - you get that if you are reading this I would so want to meet you and have a cup of coffee - well, drink warm mild but you get the jest.) I taught myself video and editing, joined the access station - learned more - love to edit! AND Paul named his company Vulcan which of course - I love Spock. I mean so many similarities I couldn't believe it. So it's just silly to sit here and actually want to meet this person

  • more. Obviously, he wouldn't give me the time of day considering his financial situation and mine - I'm an out of work teacher - major entrepreneur that has yet to succeed, lol, but keep trying. I started Adult Home Education com and Adult Home Study .com to offer an inexpensive way for adults to go back to school online. I was a literacy and GED coordinator / instructor and LOVED my job. Discovered "Learning with the Brain in Mind" and was so fascinated that I change my teaching stategy.

  • I find what I've learned about this man fasinating. Just heard about him about a month ago. I'm 52 female teacher - single - and I had the TV on in the background when there was something about Microsoft - typical billionaire discussions - nothing I would be interested in until they started talking about Paul. His interests are so in line with my own I dropped what I was doing to listen. I didn't know about him. . It stuck so much in my mind I decided to look him up online and learn

  • Hey Paul!

TRY GETTING A RESERVATION AT DORSIA NOW YOU FUCKING STUPID BASTARD! YOU, FUCKING BASTARD!

  • I read the book and I dont think he was that harsh. Lesley is making it sound like he was brutal. Shes a gossip monger. I thought he was honest and fair in the book.

  • Just look at everything he has - and he still found the time to talk about Bill G.

  • She's a bitch

  • Gates, Allen, and Jobs of them invented or created any Software or Hardware at IBM, Apple, or Microsoft! The same Person invented IBM, APPLE, MIcrosoft, and the Internet itself. This Person has received Court Rulings to suit and is Garnishing the Investment Banks for "All future Earnings" Worldwide!

  • Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are Frauds! Not only do they lie about Owning Microsoft and Apple neither of them, including Paul Allen invented any Software or Hardware those Companies have! Steve Jobs would have had to "Create" "Automated Processing Computers" to have any claim to Apple. The Software that eventually became Known as Microsoft Software was Formulated and submitted to IBM which was also Formulated by the same person! This person also Formulated the entire Internet.

  • Every ship needs a captain.

  • lol s at the facials at 6:54

  • about the marriage is he considering dudes??

  • He had just about the equal amount in starting Microsoft as Bill Gates, it's just that Bill Gates became more famous since his net worth was higher and he is less camera shy.

  • Jeeze, get another hobby, who wants to sue all these companies?!?!

  • @patio87 He wants a family! FUCKING ADOPT ME! I'LL DO ANYTHING!

  • @vorjay not a chance...

  • I see there are some on here that didn't read the history on Apple and Microsoft. They really should before making comments that pertain to both. Steve Jobbs was cheated out of his possession of his Microsoft interests. He was a full partner when it all started. He took the GUI with him to Apple, so Apple didn't have it first. Xerox didn't either.

  • @The1RealAmerican Oh? and where would one read about this history. Are there any credible books which cover this subject? Idea Man looks like one. What did you read?

  • Gates and Allen both produced and togther am sure w/ others built mocrosoft - creative minds working towards devloping new technology that changed lives. They have differences... true.

@kenfo0 - you subscribe, folllow, critic and comment - what have you ever created? Not even one video on you tube of your own? in five years on here per your homepage. So easy for the jealous to be envious. Go watch some videos.

  • It;s a compelling story he tells, business often changes relationships and success often changes people - it i often hard on friendships and lots of things happen. Overall I'd say both men were blessed and lucky that all the hard work they did paid off. While many critics have posted their views of what they think here - I'm just amazed at the story he tells. But any story always has other views and that is Bill's I wonder what he has to say.

Microsoft tech did create opportunities thanks paul.

  • @mikeinmanila different views? bill gates has produced expensive, insecure software with many bugs at release time. Bill gates has CONTINUALLY acted in an anti-competitive manner. Wants to open a branch in Canada so he doesn't have to hire "high-paid" Americans.Hard to believe he tried to screw a friend while he's sick? Not one bit. Lot's of press about the gates foundation. In what percentage is the money spent, from dollar going in, to service rendered? Never talk about that.

  • Just another clueless American interviewer. Covers the subject in no depth, does all the talking, and only asks Paul Allen trivial questions about his interests.

  • Paul Allen

    Bill Gates

  • Bill Gates was ruthless in business. But that's the way the game is played in Corporate America. Now, of course, he is a (compassionate?) hero/philanthropist...

  • @Jppx31 Let's not forget making public schools across America worse, so the poor can stay poor. The poor in America have now become slaves (also the immigrants both legal and illegal). The second worl dis better than the first and Africa is getting pampered. Asia is taking over and all they talk about is AIDS, cancer, gay rights and Africa.

  • Kudos that he decided to "tell it like it is"! Ever notice how every actor/actress who sits next to Leno (and the old Johnny Carson) always say how great the producer, the director, all their co-workers, etc...are? It gets old when the rich and famous b.s. us with platitudes b/c they fear the consequences of being honest.

  • The dude is rich as fuck but still bitches about the past, consider yourself lucky

  • He doesn't seem to acknowledge that the dynamic between himself and Bill Gates is mostly the reason for him ending up the 3rd richest man in the world at one point. We've all had some rocky relationships. Even ones that ended up being very productive. They help make us who we are in the long run as we grow and learn and gain wisdom. I'm sure Paul spends tons to help people. He needs to watch more of that money at work first hand. It will warm his soul.

  • Haha the reporter lady was trying to flirt with paul after she found out that he's looking for a girl and wants a family..LOL

  • I would like to read the book before passing judgement.

  • Gates should be in prison --- for trying to steal all of Allen's Microsoft stock --- that was a real dick move

  • Gates is an egotistical ass. Everyone knows that.

  • I pity this man.

  • It sounds to me a lot like John and Paul of the Beatles for their infighting despite no lack for greatness or Michael Jordan the way he lead the Bulls to 6 championships. Behind every success, no matter what the image, they're driven people. They compete on a high level and never let up. I'm not shocked to find out Bill was an aggressive business man. I see Mr Allen as somewhat of a sensitive creative type that was not prepared for Bill's style at achieving success.

  • @skinnyernie Could it also be jealousy? plain and simple - Bills got the most toys, allocades, and recognition? Might be as simple as that. Or maybe he wants his book to sell so he jazzed it up a bit w/ bills permission and they'll both laugh all the way to bank anew?

  • @mikeinmanila bill doesn't have the most toys.

  • he makes it a point to say that Bill is his best friend and that one couldnt ask for a better friend; he just hates Bills Business ethics

  • @StylinRed Or maybe he's just enious of success and that Bill got married has kids and a life?

  • @mikeinmanila You dont have to be married to be happy or successful. If Allen still hasnt found the actual woman he wants children (his heirs) with, that understandable. Some people dont find that person.

  • This is our history, how do you not respect this guy. Make money, have fun, sounds like a plan to me!

  • Apple started the PC. Though Microsoft did take it forward...

  • @ankitpasi1 um no they didn't. IBM or HP can fight for the first defecto PC. Xerox created the first GUI which Apple and Microsoft copied.

  • did he tell the truth?

  • Cry for attention. What a douchebag.

  • @Zechsy1 criticism is huge part of life. To not be critical of the history of microsoft undermines every history class anybody has ever taken. The truth is always more important than the result of any actions. Humanitarians like Bill, even though he has done great things are no exception.

  • Bill Gates is a NWO ass who wants to depopulate the 90% of the world by vaccines, abortions, deprivation of trearment for when you're ill, ... anything to kill off 90% of the world;s population. I say, he should start by killing himself, to set his example of how he wants it. Gates is part of the Bilderberg Group and works with Rothchild, Rockefeller and George Soros to end humanity by any means necessary.

  • @turbomango You got a laugh out of me there. So let's assume for a moment -- just for the sake of argument -- that everything you just said was true... what are you doing wasting your time on YouTube? Shouldn't you be out there stopping him? Sounds like there's a killer on the loose.

  • @jmitchem No it's you with head in sand and A## sticking straight up ready to give it up! Not my problem you are blind and asleep, SHEEP. Anyone AWAKE, reading YOUR comment will pity you. Even if hard left, do u not care about urself or ur future generations' survival? Answers are on YouTube- Gates' speech - interviews. I can understand you questioning if no proof but when visual witness is given, AGENDA 21, CFR docs, YOU have no excuse to be so dumbed down. When will you WAKE? WHEN!?

  • @turbomango You didn't answer my question. How come you're not out there doing something about it? Shouldn't you be stopping them? Doesn't sound like anyone else is. Isn't it about time you man up, take responsibility and do it yourself?

  • @jmitchem i DONT HAVE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. YOU DON'T ANSWER MINE. WHY DON'T YOU MAN UP, EH? YOU FREAKN USELESS EATER! GO GRAZE ON YOUR "PLANET X" AND CHARGE URSELF SOME CARBON TAXES. WHAT A FOOL!

  • @jmitchem DON'T YOU GET IT? i DONT HAVE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, WANKER. WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER MINE? WHY DON'T YOU MAN UP, EH? YOU FREAKN USELESS EATER! GO GRAZE ON YOUR "PLANET X" AND COLLECT URSELF SOME CARBON SO YOU CHOKE URSELF FROM LACK OF OXYGEN. WHAT A LOST FOOL SHEEPLE!

  • After watching this I've been thinking about how amazing it must have been for him to grow up and live through that time working with Bill Gates and seeing technology develop at a unbelievable rate. I wonder how he feels to be one of the people partially responsible for what is now a vital part of all our our lives.

  • Interesting interview. I always felt Ballmer was just a monkey and Gates was slightly dishonest.

  • Fascinating story of our world and NW history.

  • He seems to spend money on frivolous things, that only make him appear self centered.

Whats the point in being that rich if you're not going to be happy?

  • He's not a saint to anyone but mainstream media... Everyone knows he's a Bilderberger, a global elitist, and a crook... He wants 90% of the worlds population eliminated and he wants mandatory vaccinations that sterilize and kill people... He's nothing more than a murder and gangster of the mob bosses... His lies about CO2 don't fool us either... He's a fake global warming promoter... He deserves no less than the death penalty in prison!!
