Future estimates place the likelihood of stem cell application at 1:200, and as the applications continue to increase, all of us can probably think of something that we'd like to enhance.

Choosing to 'bank' a few drops of blood from your baby's umbilical cord just in case they are needed in the future is something a brand new mum probably wouldn't automatically think about. Is there a plan to offer this routinely to all expectant mothers?
If so: How cost effective is it to bank millions of samples of millions of babies' blood vs the likelihood of their siblings developing leukaemia in the future? I'm curious!
