It's more a custom cage with Jeep body panels, and maybe the Jeep block, and MAYBE the transmission. But I'm sure the similarities stop there.

They have Jeep Safaris the same reason Ford and Chevy have expensive 4x4 packages - so that people can buy the pretty and expensive stickers and badges that show everyone they payed too much for a vehicle that will never see dirt. At least, around Dallas Texas, that's how it seems. only 1 in 15, maybe 1 in 20 lifted trucks here ever see the mud.
