  • Sounds just like a Minimoog!

  • the slim fatty (the rack model of this) comes in a metal case. does this keyboard has the same solid construction as the Slim rack version?

  • @AlexisNembrode More so i think. The Little phatty is once Sweet instrument to play.

  • I am sorry this is a really stupid question from common person who knows nothing about synth (I play piano though)..

why so small ? I thought 61 keys was the minimum

  • @kyokushinfighter78 This synth is considered a solo instrument. (Monophonic). Only one note at a time. I'm guessing its part marketing..cost saving and Part design... less space in some musicians studios if you will..., but in reality, it doesn't make the instrument less playable, you just have to used the synth differently.

  • Sounds like daft punk

  • Hey, is the arp pattern at 2:20 ABCE? Can't tell if you're starting on the E or A. and are you doing ABCBAE, can't tell if it's a six note or 4 note? help me out please, trying to learn your tricks!!!

  • @Link0126 I believe I started the first note on the E with the right hand. then ,A,B,C. Then Next ,is the D G,A,B. Hope this helps. I'm hoping to get more structure with my videos and explain things in better detail. If you have any suggestions, let me know for future videos. Good luck and have fun Jamin'

  • Hi, nice vid. I have an LP Stage I but I can't use the arp or the latch function (which I have activated in the menu on OS 2.21) Could you tell me some tips to run this please? Greetings

  • most people hit the dislike button because they had assumed from the title that they'd see an arpeggiator function but it turns out that the arpegios are actually played and they realized that they cant do it themselves. hahahaha

    me included! nice playin :D

  • @akypar Hey Thanks for the comment. Yes, dislikes are apart of life on youtube I guess. I'm ok with it.

  • man this guy can play

  • onboard effects?

  • @beasst94 no onboard effects coming from the moog synth. i'm using some effects from a mic powered mixer.

  • nice....

  • You almost had Vangelis' Metallic rain right there at 1:02

  • @maxiemclerx Oh Cool... I didn't even know. Some times my playing starts one place and may end another way. Thats synth music for ya. Thanks Much!

  • i like..

    good touch

  • Doesnt even fit in the rhythm... just too bad

  • Yes, I noticed the Arpeggio part was out of sync with the drums.. It was because I didn't have midi set-up to control the rhythm of the Roland Fantom drum pattern part. Thanks for pointing that out. You have good ears.

  • Hey, did you only update the software (download and install it) to get the arpeggiator?? Or you have to do a hardware updating... Because that was I understood in Moog website, am I wrong??

  • No updating hardware, just update the software inside the moog Little phatty.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • you have a good playing technique :D

  • nice vid but man what a difference little delay pedal makes on a lp and honestly the other thing to mention is why the heck they didn't include an arp on the lp tribute.. would make life so much easier on stage.. good vid thou

  • hey, thinking of buying this, wanna create some stuff like Yes and Emmerson lake and palmer, u recommend this?

  • Most definitely. This Moog will be great for Yes, Emmerson Lake and Palmer. This Moog Instrument is a Excellent Choice for Leads. Easy to program patches. Go-For-It!

  • so is this monophonic or polyphonic? , well i'm actually new at synths so...i'll ask this way ... can you play chords?

  • no, this is one note at a time monophonic synth. but very expressive and almost sounds like your playing more then one note a a time.

  • great playing and video, were you using a delay of some sorts?

  • Why Yes, a delay from a Peavey Effects board thats not in camera view. Thanks

  • I thought the little phatty was monophonic?

    Great playing.

  • Oh its Monophonic. Its just the way I set-up the filters and decay settings. and keeping the notes from the keys smooth. Thats it.

  • It has an arpeggiator now. The chords he plays are split into individual notes.

  • Great video! Great playing, too...

    The Moog Team

  • I'm Honored.. Thanks for making a Great Instrument. keep up the good work!

  • the beat is PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!

    ;DDDD

  • i am hopefully getting one extremely cheap, just checking out some vids on what to expect, this looks (sounds) extremely cool!! thanks for demonstrating it man

  • Thanks! Great moog, at what ever price. It will always be a deal. Happy playing when you get your moog!

  • I'm planning on getting one of these little beasts in the next month or so. They are SO sick.

  • I'll have a lot of fun with this sick synth! make a video and send it to me once you put together a demo. Peace.

  • i mean YOU, will... have fun with this sick synth.

  • Mate, I loved this. Your demo has helped immensely in finalising my setup. Your arpeggio run was played with nice feel too.

  • Thanks much! Glad I could help in giving you some ideas for your own fun set-up. Send me a video with your stuff also.

  • Far from Wakeman...

  • No Ego Here. Just having fun. lets keep youtube fun instead of seeing who can play better, faster. I like to share my music passion with others. hope you can do the same. Thanks

  • Well said. It was not my intention to say something bad. Truthfully, I see that you're creative and have good performance.

  • So many ways to interpret short comments. Thanks for commenting again.

  • oops i mean sick lol

  • i recently got that update and the arpegiator is suck

  • Hey. Love the sounds. I'm new to all this stuff. Do moog issue these upgrades and are they free? If not where do you get the upgrades from. Also just wondering what you think of the moog voyager old school.

  • Moog release the updates via their website and yes, they are free

you need a MIDI to USB interface to load the updates onto the Little Phatty

  • neat stuff, brother. Ever see the documentary on Moog, I love that guy. Love the sounds your machines make--nice job.

  • Thanks. Yes, I seen the video. Great stuff.
