Wrong, the tire did not pop. If it did it would be completely ripped in half. Tires that pop don't look intact like his did. He fish tailed it and let off the gas, causing the bike to dump.

When the tyre blew in half it hoped off the bead both sides, you should try to ride a steel 6"rim with no tyre on tar its pretty much impossible. Glad to see people still care about my weight too...;)
