does anyone else think that this person dancing might be a man?
now of course i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but if you look closely, you can see broad shoulders and a more masculine-shaped torso...
just wondering! i'm not too sure how women look when they're very toned.
at any rate, this person is beautiful...and true work of art regardless of gender
@2dark2bDzired If you read the credits it says "Jennifer DePalo." Although I agree with you that she's real muscular in addition to the dance which is quite masculine itself.
i don't really know anything about dance....but i've read electra, and i fink if it is possible to portray the character of electra in dance, dat was it, atleast for me.
anger mixed in with teenage anxt is how i see electra and her movements kinda captured that from me. this just my personal opinion
I love the beauty and strength in this dance. I have so much respect for martha graham, and for modern dancers in general. And I know how hard it is, because I'm a modern dancer as well.
I used to think that the music for Clytemnestra was weak. But if it's so weak, then why does it never grow old? The music always keeps me on the edge of my seat, even after years. Maybe it is pretty good, after all.
