  • I can't believe how much mew2king has improved since this video was recorded

  • laggy video was laggy

  • Youtube can't handle how awesome they are.

  • nice comeback by jason the king of mewtwos.

  • lol what? this is not even a "comeback" fight

  • i dunno what game you watched, but m2k was behind the whole game.

  • "comebacks" are when a player is behind by STOCKS and manages to win.

  • or a comeback is when the other player is expected to win because they are ahead but then you pull off the win by picking it up at the end. btw, m2k was down a full stock at one point of this game.

  • people give thumbs down like fickle little girls, why was any of this stuff given a thumbs down. this is so passive compared to most youtube scuffles

  • lol i know. I gave those ppl +1. Also you get +1 for this comment.

  • Wes is the best!

  • Wes is the best!

  • oooh , good match

  • marth = mid-air combat king

  • Ken>Masashi Some (most but not all) games

    Fox>Marth Overall

  • i do like fastliketree's style in ssbm, his style is revolutionary

  • i dont like fastliketree's style in ssbm, his style is wierd

  • Marth is not cheap. He has simply mastered Marth's abilities. Marth excecutes fast attacks which is how he is meant to be used. Fox takes quite a bit of work to use his speed. People like to use his Refelctor + Wavedashes or Jump Cancel to rack up damage. Quite simply it's this, Marth does not usually take such speed of the fingers while Fox takes a load of it. It's easier to control Marth than it is Fox. I will admit, I main Fox but can't fully control the speed needed for him all the time.

  • As a Marth/Yoshi player, I can say that Marth requires precision to use at a high level as well. You have to know how to space yourself moreso than other characters(imo) and if you're going to use a tipper hit or not.

  • Marth/Roy are made to be powerful yet defensive.

It's not a shame that he turtles, it's utilizing Marth's advantage with defense to play.

And the funnier thing is all of the comments are by people that think they're better than one or both of these players, but have no proof that they can even play SSB:M, let alone play well.

  • Marth's up tilt...it's just...

  • Fox's uair... it's just... about the same

  • bunch of noobs. fox can easily throw up to up kicks to anyone in the damn game. it fukin hard to to da same ko ability w/ marth. m2k is lucky flt doesnt try chain grabbing as much. ken>massashi. nuff said

  • Scrub comments. They are fun.

  • God, I absolutely despise Marth. Skill vs. Skill Mew2King should've walked all over this guy. Instead, he barely beats him. FLT is good, but...ugh, I hate Marth.

Probably the thing that ticks me off most is how easy it is for Marth to edge-guard most top-tier characters. You'd have to use someone with an unpredictable recovery like Jiggly (who gets thrashed by Marth anyway), Peach, or Pikachu/Pichu. Anyone else he can just FSmash you to death.

  • funny that mew2king himself doesn't agree with your assertion. mew2king thinks he's better than flt of course, but not to the extent of "i'm going to annhialate this guy." m2k even said that based on him vs flt's extensive friendlies played, he can safely say that these tournament matches are a horrible indicator of what they can do.

  • I could not agree more dude. I despise Marth more than anyone in the game aswell. His edge gaurding is unbelievably unfair and cheap. He's just plain nothing but pure cheapness.

  • Turtling Marth?? LMFAO, plz GTFO.

  • FastLikeTree is an amazing player, but I just hate Marth...he just doesn't take too much technical work to kill. If he gets you over the edge, it's curtains from there if he is a smart edgeguard.

  • Yeah, it's not that easy against fox, I'm sorry. You try playing mew2king's fox with marth see how well you do.

  • That's not my point. Fox has to do a lot of technical work to be good. Marth doesn't, relatively, that is.

  • It's not so much a matter of technique with the pro players because it should be the first thing you should practice anyways. Good technique can be achieved in a relatively short time if you work hard enough. It's the experience and mindgames that really contribute to the win.

  • I believe technique is needed to employ mindgames to their fullest. Afterall, without waveshining, what is fox? How about multiple SHFFL to a shines in sequence? Those techniques aren't exactly easy, and without them, a fox player is greatly hindered. But yes, technique is useless if you can't connect, which takes a good mindgame against an experienced turtling Marth

  • What's a turtling Marth?

  • Marth's sword can potentially protect his whole body if he stays in one spot, so he is like a turtle. He could attack in a large range very quickly using utilt, ftilt, or fsmash

  • Thanks for your reply.

  • QFT.

  • Fox is a twitch character in my opinion. Everything he does is instantanious. Marth has more of a flow. He's kindof like Shiek with blue hair and a sword.

  • and a penis

  • altho a minitaure one

  • FLT's name is Wes.

  • wes? i dont see his name

  • Hmm, al least Wes gave one hell of a fight

  • Hey, I posted here a long time ago with my old Username...lolz

  • super close match!

  • I couldn't even tell if those U-throws by Fox were DIed. O_0

  • omg, uthrow - uair with fox is so broken xO . [joking?] but seriously, people complain about chainthrow with marth??? just look at that. friggin killer. he played awesome.

  • I was rooting for "Wes" also.

  • damn that was close.

  • Wes?

  • that's fastliketree's real name.

  • So close, so close.

    I wanted Wes to win.
