That was the most ballin' hot shit I eva heard son! This song was played during a Dominique Wilkins highlight video I used to watch as a kid and I always liked it.
Little faster than the original. But played perfectly! I have a Video Cassette that my dad taped in 1989 called, "Sports Illustrated Presents, an NBA entertainment production of, SUPERSTARS." And this song was played for Dominique Wilkins highlights in 86-89 in SLOW-MOTION.
A friend of mine did this song as an excellent Commodore 64 SID-chip (Sound Interface Device, a true three-voice subtractive analog music synth built into the computer) piece. This was in the days before MIDI, .WAV and .MP3 files, etc.
It was a hit on QuantumLINK (aka Q-Link), the C64-specific online service that later begat AOL.
@rolwal68 You're right ;-) I had to do some additional searching and here it is: youtube.com/watch?v=BBIV2gXV2tM

@algallego They begin the segment with it, but end with some other highly charged 80s synth/rock tune!

Your painted Casio MT-240 reminds me of the inverse version of the good old Korg Poly 800.

reminds me of some retro video game tune, either that or a song that would be on an 80's movie similar to Legend or the Never Ending Story.
