It's a general assembly process, some of you take it waayy too seriously. Many different brand of speakers and subs come from the same buildhouse. Different methods for different applications but they all work on the same concepts, much of the differences is marketing purposes, the specs are for the intended applications. Don't base anything on looks or surround and mag sizes.

Low frequency loudspeakers and subwoofers are not the same thing, however subwoofers and woofers arnt either, subwoofers are in their own houseing go much lower and can get bigger, woofers go in a loudspeaker type houseing and don't go as low or usualy as loud. That being said the guy had it right.

dude i work at an audio centre so i think i know the difference between the 2 and i got a subwoofer and a loudspeaker and they dont sound nuffin alike, loudspeakers are what they use in gigs and concerts (high frequencys) thus the name loud and subs are for bass (low frequencys)
