I've tasted so many different type of biryani. But Dhaka's biriyani r the best. I wish I'm in Dhaka now. :(

The Kacchi Biriyani in old Dhaka is the best in Indian sub continent. I have tried different indian biriyanis but they are nothing when the Kacchi biriyani from old dhaka comes in my mind. Nobody can get the test until come to the old part of Dhaka. This biriyani is the best, no doubt

Bangla biriyani specially the KACCHI biriyani is the best in the world. indian or pakistani biriyani is nothing in front of Old dhakas KACCHi biriyani

@Maymar1, probably u don't hv this type of biriyani in ur country . If u r not from Bangladesh. Here we don't use basmati rice for biriyani Like india.we use basmati for plain white rice.basmati doesn't hv smell that is important for biriyani. We use kalijira or chinigura polao rice ... I don't know why u call Mughal? Do Mughals were only in india? U ppl don't know cooking. U ppl don't spend money to eat. U stupid know nothing about biriyani.

I am a Bengali from kolkata, I must say this " Bangladesh Food Rocks".

Biryani is just one of the thousand of fantastic dishes from Bangladesh.

However here in Kolkata (Calcutta) many restaurants prepare good Biryani.

Bangla ami tomay bhalo bashi.

i recently tasted beef kachhi biryani and that right in the one of the south asian (or rather world) havens for biryani, old dhaka... i think although kachhi biryani traditionally implied mutton, the beef variant is gaining popularity recently...as someone from chittagong, i think tehari (which is almost always beef) will now get some competition in its category...

@zairt Oh yes they absolutely do! Dhaka was the moghul capital for a century and most of our traditional food has strong moghul influence! :)

@Gudumpie I had the Bangladeshi cuisine here in UK and absolutely love it....but nobody makes biryani the way Hyderabadis(India) do.....simply love it my bangladeshi favourite is macher jhol just love it:)
