HAHAHAHAHA! I HAVE HONESTLY NEVER LOVED INJOKES THIS MUCH :D GOD BLESS US FOLKIES EVERY ONE :D hahaha flaming on show of hands for the win- bellowhead kickin ther asses :L
Well...it's made my evening! Thanks for posting that. It's a rare bit of (albeit bad-taste) humour poking fun at our often too serious world of folk :¬) David
One of the good points in living in a free (i.e. non-nazi) society, is that people are free to say and post whatever they want without censorship. That was the whole point of world war two, a point I fear you are missing.
Do you understand/realise what is being said during the subtitle: At least Show of hands play in tune?
This video shows, bad choice, ignorance of both the World War II, the German language, and if my command of the English language were better, I would find even stronger words to express what I think.
I hope that whoever made this video would have the decency to remove it from before more people, as this war is still too close for jokes.
Janny, I can absolutely understand why you find it upsetting.
However, it was created more as a private joke (yeah, I realize it's up publicly on YouTube, but...) and in its intended context and spirit it is indeed hilarious (an intentional mistranslation of the German and ignoring of history).
Humor is subjective. I thought this was insanely funny and extremely well done, *but* I do know one of the people involved and am confident no disrespect to anyone who suffered in WWII is intended.
I'm a great fan of Bellowhead, but viewing this clip am questioning the reason for making this video, what the humour in it is, and what you are hoping to achieve.
For me this video only raises questions.
What would you think of this video if you were someone from an occupied country?
Do you know, for example that The Netherlands remember their dead on 4th May, and that's just one country great timing of putting this clip on the web.
lolocaust!

Janny:
The censorship you would like to apply to this clip is worthy of only one person in this video and I am not talking about Phil Beer.

Plus, it's really funny.
