first I thought he was playing fast but now got used to it, it is really nice clean playing. all the trills, in which edition are they? he has a beatiful bunch of them.
At 1:27 he totally looks like Eddie Kaye Thomas a.k.a Stiffler's Mom F***er from the American Pie film series. Almost Excelent performance though. Keep going that way buddy.
Wow! I was guided here by a fellow you-tuber and I'm really glad I was! Amazing, to say the least! All that beautiful music made right there along side the tools!
@CHATRUCSONG "wrong ornamentation"? How can ornamentation be "wrong"? You might not like whatever ornamentation he uses, but that wouldn't make it wrong.
Plus, lack of articulation, apparently, isn't as evident as you claim it is. Most of the comments on this page are positive.
"he has conditions and must work hard" LOL! Excuse my assumption, but this reeks of jealousy.
tout ça est très bien. Belle vidéo. Mais comme toujours ces pianistes vont trop vite; ça peut être bien des fois ms le plupart du temps c'est juste comme une étude de czerny!
Wow, is this the same Neuburger from the Jose Iturbi back in 2004? If so, 5 years later he turned into prince charming and his playing is still excellent!
how!!!! il a beaucoup changé!!!!!!...bravo...... il est plus un etudiant virtuose...... son look a bien changé et son touché aussi....... il faut continuer comme ça et il va devenir un grand pianiste du XXI siecle........
I'll guess that it's because adding a third makes it sound more final, and the suite needs to progress through the movements; the prelude does not stand alone. Also, for minor key pieces, a Picardi (major) third would have been standard, which would sound odd leading directly back into the tonic in minor.
An excellent performance of the prelude; varied and introspective...more so than the Pogorelich recording. I didn't recognize the little variants at 3:43 and following but thought them integral to the whole. Wonderful!!

I really enjoyed this interpretation. The articulation is very clear. I also liked the timbre of the piano. It is more like a harpsichord.
Thank you.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
evident lack of articulation ,sense of internal voices and wrong ornamentation;he has conditions and must work hard

This prelude doesn't end with an octave. It ends with a sixth C and A in the RH. Just that this guy doesn't play it.

Why did Bach end these fabulous preludes with a single (octave) note?
