Jajajaja 5:35 a 5:53.
People give Genesis a lot of bad rap for going pop and I go "Dude even the most 'pop' of their albums have prog rock on them." Abacap has this one and the long version of the title track. And "Invisible touch" has "Domino" and "the Brazillian"
When I was 6, around the time this came out, I listened to the song...and the more I listened to it back then, the more I was convinced that Phil just needed a nap during the daytime so he wouldn't have nightmares like this at night to write about, LOL! What else are you going to make of a song like this when you're that age? I listened to it again in my teens...it still didn't make any damn sense, but Tony's keyboard playing in this song and abacab made me want to take it up too. THANKS TONY!
Having been a longtime fan of Genesis, with all the various lineups, they were definitely a live show to be seen. Even the films of their shows can't capture the beauty of the sound and the magic of the show. I saw them a total of 5 times and am thankful for those amazing memories.
When I listen to this song I am reminded of the time I visited my brother for his birthday four years ago (on the Fourth of July) in Madison, WI. We went to the fireworks show that night and he was playing that song in the car as we drove along Johnson St and I never forgot that night.
My brother died two years ago this month. I now listen to this song in sadness.
Music can stir such powerful emotion. I had a heart attack 8yrs ago and while recovering I listened to Genesis-Undertow. Very intense song&lyrics-brings a lump to my throat whenever I hear it again.
More recently I went to a Tool concert in JAX. There was a shirtless young man who looked like he had mud smeared on him. He said it was the ashes of his late brother who was a huge Tool fan. After the concert he was going to swim in the ocean and let his brother wash away.
The Three Sides Live Tour was in 1982, so cant was in 1981, In 1981 was the Abacab Tour. I dont know exactly when it was, but was in Nassau Colosseum in long Island
Still rocks....PG opr PH it doesnt matter, great band!

Their sound was really phenomenal right at this time! I can't stop listening to Dodo and playing some sloppy keys along with it. XD

If the rumours are true and they will release one last box set with just the live albums, this will probably be on it in remastered form.
