As a Freemason of 25 years [UGLE] I find it amusing that people who are not members of my Brotherhood, endlessley quote or misquote Albert Pike [A&AR] or tell me that I dont know I am not high enough. they regurgitate the Taxil Hoax as demonstrated by chalooz12 and I have never sworn a Masonic Oath I have affirmed to keep certain modes of recognition private and confidential, In Essence Freemasonry is about mans relationship with his fellow man, Religion is about mans relationship with God
@je5752 First of all, this is what we laugh at in Lodge that being THE PROFANE such as yourself telling Masons what or what is not happening through our ranks. Completely laughable and shows your ignorant. It's the typical human reaction which shows in most People that being like a Monkey or Gorilla "Punch and destroy what you don't know and then ask questions and find out later". You seek to destroy? Masons are builders of Light, you are the evil one trying to destroy and remove good deeds!WOW!
@proudfreemason So why do you do things in secret? "Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the YAHWEH, who do their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?" You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!... Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing? Isa 29:15-16. Also, if you swear by the bible, you will know that it is not the things you do but you must be BORN AGAIN.
That which we must say to the world is that we worship a god, but it is the god that one adores without superstition. To you, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the brethren of the 32nd, 31st and 30th degrees: The masonic Religion should be, by all of us initiates of the higher degrees, maintained in the Purity of the Luciferian doctrine. If Lucifer were not God, would Adonay and his priests calumniate him?
@charlooz12 Let me help you out. You are speaking ONE PERSONS thoughts! One man who IS NOT FREEMASONRY WHATSOEVER. Albert Pike whilst being a fantastic author and a great Man I am sure, he is not The Craft. Secondly, LUCIFER the word The Hebrew word translated Lucifer is helel (or heylel) meaning, to shine, or to bear light.. When he speaks of Lucifer HE IS SPEAKING OF THE "LIGHT". He is speaking of God. He is speaking in code and most importantly, he is SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF! Wake up young Man!
Brotherly love, relief and truth......these are the Masons beliefs. My husband, father, father in law, uncles and cousins are all master masons. I am of the Order of the Amaranth. My son is a DeMolay. If you are ignorant about Masonry and are open minded......ask someone in the craft. You may learn something.
@24Girlie24 yea right... thats y hitler, bush, blair & many other global criminals are masons.. and thats y ur constitution says that if any1 with a master degree (3rd degree) left the brotherhood should be killed... mmmm i don't think ur fooling us.. i think u r the fool who believes in this type of secret society bullshit.. who is actually all of about money and power, ever though almost all politicians are like this the difference is that masons have a well planned agenda!
I was using examples that other groups have secrets not just the Masons, which you alluded that anyone with secrets is automatically to be considered a liar.
What about the right to privacy act that hospitals have, that when my daughter had a baby, they couldn't tell me if it was a boy or girl.
I'm also sure you have secrets that you will take to the grave.
If not, then your not old enough to make this equation.
I have been fighting the good fight with "THESE PEOPLE" for so so long. I am growing tired of it. The narrow minded side of society has made me thank my lucky stars that I became involved in the craft.. It has made me see the side of humanity that I never saw prior to this. I feel like a BlackMan living 200 years ago.WIDE OPEN persecution for no good reason other then pure ignorance.. Masonry is such a beautiful piece of history and the future. So, in closing.. GOD BLESS AND LONG LIVE THE CRAFT
You feel like a black man living 200 years ago? That's interesting. Because one of the Freemasons in this video (Robert Byrd) was a former member of Ku Klux Klan. No joke. Look it up.
@LordRyoku ONE GUY who is a member of the Klu-Klux Klan makes ALL Mason bad? That's like me saying a Black guy mugged me that makes ALL BLACK PEOPLE BAD! Or, one Police Officer was corrupt therefor the entire Force in behind him.. USE YOUR HEAD! This is exactly directed to my last point, society really is being dummed down and this guy is a perfect EXAMPLE!
@LordRyoku Actually you should have put a comma after "Right" instead of a period as your sentence continued. I would take a second look at your attitude
@proudfreemason I respect your opinions, though, I disagree, I believe all secret societies shall and will never be blessed by the God I worship. (Don't say I'm contradicting myself, Christianity was anything but secret, it was a revolution), Honesty is what God rewards, not lies, not secrets. Keep this in mind, we shall all be judged, God did not make people evil, sins did. Sins ruined our pure heart. Remember that.
@TheShottyCutScene Well, first off Masonry is all about Honesty! Christianity was done in THE DARK for fear of persecution as well. Just because we close off our Lodges to NON-MASONS or the uninitiated does NOT mean there is anything nefarious going on. I will speak civilly with you as you seem proper. You need to understand before you destroy and shun. Please, do your research. When we are doing ALL OF THESE GOOD DEEDS that I don't see any congregations doing, well then. WE ARE THE LIGHT!
@proudfreemason There are many forms of Masonry, I do know that, and also, I am not secretive about my religion at all, though I do not feel the need to go to church, as I believe it's hypocritical. I just believe secrets are only for those who *NEED* to hide something. Thus, the lack of honesty, that's against my principles. I mean, I respect you, but I also believe that if Masonry came out in the public, a lot of change (for better or worse) would occur.
@TheShottyCutScene Talk about hypocritical...if you are not secretive then why do you not have your name, occupation, ect on your account? Why the secrets? and the hypocrisy.... As for "if Masonry came out into the public" well you (and other Masonophobes) are hundreds of years behind the time. Masons have always marked their buildings, posted when they met, had information in newspapers (when the papers would print it), ect. Just because people are ignorant, dont blame the Masons.
@BeukendaalMason I'm not a masonophobe, I fear no religion, I fear very little besides God himself. Ignorant? I'm hardly ignorant, I know more about what happens in this world than you do. And as far as naming my occupation on my youtube page...who gives a fuck? If you're using that as one, you're grasping at straws and are quite pathetic when it comes to arguing, seeing as in most religion threads, I give my full out religion. Also, I'm a single man, we're talking about a religion. Faulty.
Furthermore, why don't you post your credit card, phone number, email or social security number on your youtube page, since we're talking about secrecy? Simple, you want privacy, I enjoy my privacy, but a place that is an 'esteemed church' should not get one, unless they're hiding something. Fine, fuck it, I'll say it right now, I'm calling bullshit on your blatant stupidity and lies: TROLL.
@TheShottyCutScene "I enjoy my privacy, but a place that is an 'esteemed church' should not get one" First by saying that you get privacy and others dont is hypocrisy. Everyone gets to have privacy or no one does. There can be not rules for some and not for others. Second if you are under the delusion of Masonry being a religion or "church" you are showing that you truely are ignorant. Sorry to point out the obvious to you, maybe you wish to just go back to your ignorance and fantasies....
@BeukendaalMason First, no it isn't you seriously need to read my comment. Corporations/churches/cults shouldn't have privacy to have credibility, I respect the Westboro Baptist Church more than I respect the Mason cult like following. In fact, I respect Fred Phelps more than I respect any of your opinions, because you're a narrow minded cunt. Oops, was that immature? Individuals deserve privacy, not groups. Furthermore, answer my question about credit card numbers, please, do so, fucking idiot.
@TheShottyCutScene You comments show your problems, not anyone elses. Everyone, individuals and groups of those individuals (if you take a groups privacy away you also take away all of the individuals). I have answered your question, I would suggest reading replies. But to make sure you FULLY understand (if you can). I believe EVERYONE deserves privacy... but if someone wishes others to do, or have things done to them they should also wish to have the same for themselves.
@BeukendaalMason Groups shouldn't have privacy, that's called a secret society and it's normally linked to conspiracy. So yeah, I reserve my right for privacy because I am not a legion, because I am not a group, but I am one man. And apparently one man among moronic cunts. Ooh, did I say a mean word? See, I have problems, everybody does. It seems you and your cult...er...religion have more than me. So yeah, in time, Free Masonry will be exposed, for better or worse, re-genesis or death of it.
Everything a Freemason says must instantly be considered a lie, because they are sworn to secrecy. The only people that keep secrets, are those with something to hide.
What are you talking about? You've seen National Treasure and now you know about Masons huh? You know nothing of the so-called "vow if secrecy." I'm not even going to use its proper title with a know-nothing like yourslef. With all the good Masons do in the world, it saddens me to see people who probably do nothing yet have something to say about us. I wish you would spend this much time and energy making a positive difference in the world.
Everything we say is a lie?? If you ask me about our "Grips" and I tell you that I'm not going to tell you that because I have taken an obligation, does that mean I am lying and I really didn't take any obligation? I don't get it? You sir really need to either go back to school in some capacity or do some research as your assumptions are not warranted nor are they appreciated. How many times have you whacked off today and when was your first time? Oh, i'm sorry is that a secret?? Use your head!
@ishaofpistis1 ACTUALLY, we take an obligation for modes of recognition, nothing more. I DO NOT fault you as you are someone with obvious zero intellect or common sense. We also take an Obligation to be HONEST,JUST and UPRIGHT MEN.. Honest means, WE CANNOT LIE... By me telling you, I do not wish to discuss that AM I LYING? :-) Such a silly comment you made, does someone have "Grumpy Bears in their Tummy"?? Tee Hee
"Mystery is the essence of human nature. Whatever is presented to people under mysterious guise will always arouse curiosity. But those who join the Masonic lodge from idle curiosity about its secrets, risk growing old without ever achieving their purpose. Yet there is a secret. One so inviable that it can never be confided or whispered to anyone." Words from one of the most educated and eloquent men of the 18th century. Playwrite, scholar, poet, and statesman.....Giacomo Giovanni Casanova
Whether it's a religion or not is debatable. Masonry isn't evil, but that would depend on what you've been taught, some people think cats are evil. I think it's better said that Masonry is used to explain your current religion more accurately, according to their beliefs/opinions anyway, if you have a religion. Know that a Mason will lie or deny a truth about their ways if you reveal something. I don't think their rituals and secrets are a big deal anyway, it makes you curious to join!
Masonry teaches morality and brotherhood. It's not a secret society but a society that has some secrets. It's the secrets that tie the members together all over the world. There is nothing sinister in freemasonry. Masonry is not a religion but embraces all religions. A person is not allowed to become a Mason if he doesn't believe in God. Other than that, he can believe in whatever he wishes.
there isn't anything in masonry that says we can't do that on our own time (and many masons do) we are just forbiden from discussing these things IN the lodge while we're conducting our craft (mostly cherity work)
With all due respect eagleboytx, the work in the lodge is about transforming the individual's psyche - charity is secondary (but still important). The main goal of Freemasonry has always been spiritual transformation within the individual.
