Does anybody know if.......it's hard to word this. OK. In Australia, I believe there are long stretches of straight, desolate, desert roads. What are the speed limits on these roads? Also, how well//often are they patrolled by police? What I mean is, are they any roads like that were you have a good chance are really opening up a car/motorcycle, with little chance of being bothered by the police? I'd hate to see that the fine looks like on a 185mph speeding ticket, lol.

Pretty good video. Totaly agree with the picture of vegimite and the following one of it on toast; THICKLY SPREAD! As it damn well should be. Don't really get all the comments about a "true aussie vid". Don't get me wrong, it's well done and I probably couldn't have done better, but not the most patriotic-feeling-inducing video that I've seen. I loved 1:51 though, best cop car ever :D

My dads English, mother Australian, people call me a pozzie, born in oz, brought up in England, moved back to Oz last year at age 26, don't think I'd wanna live anywhere else, love Australia, fav country in the whole world! I'd be proud to call myself an Australian, although I don't know if Aussies would except that with my northern English accent, lol.

I don't see one American car there. As for the Holdens, the V8 motors are based on the American Chev 350 and the V6 on a Buick motor.
Not sure where you get Japan from?
Holden did for a time make their own Australian designed V8's and straight 6.

Holden also made a 4 cylinder called the Starfire Four. A 1.9 litre which was really just a cut down 6 cyl.
Chrysler Australia also did research in that area. They built some & one is on display @ the National Motor Museum outside Adelaide @ the Birdwood Mill.
Holden built its own home designed 6cyls from the EH-VK (pretty sure the 'grey' 6 was a yank design) & V8's HT-VT(?)

also if u want to party and love to the beach u should give the Gold Coast a try its beautiful and setup great for tourists.
Stay Clear of Sydney its over crowded with Tourists everyone is in a rush and its just hetic only go if u wanna see the opera house and the harbour bridge

Yes, but with all due respect, that is mostly just approximations and guesses. We can't even date when the Aborigines got here, they say back before Australia broke off from Laurasia and such, so there is no way of defining whether or when other races were here with the Aborigines.
The fact remins, our land belongs to the Aborigines, they were the first true Australians,
