What gear(s) was the viper in? 650rwhp in 2nd, 850rwhp in 3rd, and 1100rwhp in 4th.....each shift makes a big difference with programmable boost and #'s like that.

Well apparently the gallardo is faster so what does it matter. If Big Red is taping the race, why would he put it online of him losing. I'm pretty sure he would do just about everything to win so it doesn't look like he's slow. So why exactly run low boost...
if it is big red there is no way that the gallardo is faster unless it is on low boost with the gallardo on high, we argue becuz we actually looked into these cars and kno the specs of them.. big red is the heffner SHOP VIPER it is no slouch
The viper that was raced had its gearing set up for the paxton mile, which it got 215 mph. The Hennessey Viper got like 220+ in the paxton mile. It seems like which ever viper is working th best is the one that will do the best, and so far it is the hennessey. Although I would still rather own heffners TT gallardo its not all about the race :)
if that was a hennesy built viper it was video taping the gallardo. there was just a comparison in car and driver which the viper smoked the heffner gallardo
well when it comes to a roll, and you have the 1000hp hennessey package it's really not slow at all, it's faster than a bugatti veyron to 200mph, is that slow?
Never said it was slow, just slower than the other tt vipers, UGR, Heffners, SVS, will all murder Hennessey. And as far as a Bugatti goes, its just an overpriced party piece, the lpe vette, and the autobahn supra will kill it.

The Bugatti isn't over priced because it comes from the factory with 1000hp. It's not only meant to be fast but has the ability to be the perfect daily driver, with many luxuries that your average daily driver would have. Everyone that has ever tested it says that it's the easiest supercar to drive, and a 1000+hp supercar that has a very compliant ride, luxurious cabin, and easy day-to-day drivability is no easy feat. You could easily just make it fast, but 250mph capable with comfort is unique.

There are tons of companies which could probably make a luxurious car which is just right there with the veyron for the same amount it takes to make a veyron, they're just not stupid enough to sell it and lose money, and they know people wouldn't pay the price if they paid on how much it cost to build it
