stupid question but can i use vegetable oil or olive hair oil on chains for suspension bikes for men if not then what?

DO NOT. Use WD 40 as a chain lubricant or any other lubricant on your bike. Other than using it on a squeaky door hinge.

sweet thanks very much. quick questions though. my bike doesnt go backwards so is it ok to go forwards? and what lube should i use GT40 any good?
