I kinda followed the way you did, but I used two balloons because the helmet is really long. I also used cardboard on some parts. And the side holes are indented, not facing out O: So I cut a hole where they were. Then I covered the whole thing with model magic clay, sand papered it, colored it, and spay painted it to look shiny. It looks like the actual thing. :3

Hi there, could you please tell me exactly how you cut the card out please? I can't really see how you cut it and what shape it's meant to take. I have tried but I can't seem to get it right, it would really help me a lot if you could tell me.

Next time to make sure it fits your head just measure your head with a measuring tape and blow the balloon up to the length of your head. This make sure you can fit it. Don't want all your hard work to be for nothing. You could have coated it with resin and sand it. Then paint it. Just so it can be more smoother.

Cool da hab ich doch mal ne anleitung fürs helm gefunden & das noch auf Deutsch :D ich geh auf die LBM 2O11 und da möchte ich Lucy cosplayen, und den helm wollte ich auch basteln, hatte aber KEINEN PLAN wie ich das machen sollte, aus styropor, aus irgendwas, und aus noch irgendwas! ich hab in google nachgeschaut und dann in youtube~ Danke für das reinstellen :D (du hast mich gerettet XD)

cool gemacht, meine Freundin und ich sind dabei Kamen Rider Decade und Diend zu machen aber der Helm da ist verdammt schwer. und irgendwie war der Ballon zu klein XDD als mein Kopf passt da nicht rein. Vl probieren wirs einfach nochmal.
