Musically I believe Dust is the best thing Murphy's ever done but am I the only person who thinks his vocals have become ridiculously exaggerated over the years? With Bauhaus & Dalis car there were times when you could clearly detect humour in his voice but no longer. The rerecording of My last 2 weeks on Dust is the perfect illustration of what I'm talking about. I find it makes the track near on unlistenable. Ironically his vocal performance on the original version was amongst his best.

it's turkish sound. and there's gypsies in turkey and egypt. Although they originally come from India. So it all fits. Hence the influence in Hungarian & Romanian music. Like Circassian culture iun Russia

I'm not here to bash anyone's comments, but I have to agree w/ the original poster of this song, if someone is inclined to dislike a song, then why bother ranting or raving about how much you hate it? If music doesn't do anything for you, then you might as well stop listening. The reason the drums run is for a tribal feel. It does not sound cheap at all. The violin was some of the best work I've heard so far. Very great song in my opinion only. Thanks for posting your interest Pallus.

Stupid song. I hate it! I hope it is not made by the band. And I not only hope but I know it is not.The voice is surely slowed down. Singer would not sound like this if it were made by him.Also the drum running the same way all the time makes me feel this was made in some cheap sound manager edit software and put there for purpose.Covering the Classic songs band tools that couldnt be muted 100%so we cant hear it. Also the Violin covers guitar I bet you that. I hate this song."LOVE" shout is BAD!

Actually, this is made by Peter... is in his album DUST... wonderful CD to me, but you'll probably hate it. Don't listen to it, we'll enjoy it for you
