  • No way is this 1990. More like mid 90s when the net was just commercialized.

  • Tobias

  • Holy shit, that is one POWERFUL computer.

  • the red head is so hot

  • Did anyone notice his name is Mr. Noobie?

  • 2:03 first internet porn

  • @modgemtb 2:15 he clearly asks her to go porn sites

  • His son is a pyro?

  • Yeah this would have been around '94 not 90

  • That's windows 3.xx,NOT 1990,summer '95,more likely.I was online in84,originally,in school(NCP),then went "modern" in '92,on the Spry Mosaic browser, via an AOL or CompuServ login.CD-roms were still much bigger than the web at that point.

  • seems more like the early to mid 90's

  • No way this is 1990! must be at least 1994-5, surely?

  • @Gregz0r1 Ya, cause the specs there were talking about I dont even think existed in 1990.. Hell, in 95 I didnt even have those pc specs, and my stuff was HIGH END!

  • Tube!

  • He's such a NOOB!

  • 56k modem ftw

  • According to the sys specs this video CANNOT be from 1990. 1993-1994 more likely.

  • I like how the pages are not properly sized to the browser window. I almost forgot how crude it all looked back then.

  • this is edited like a youtube poop

  • God! The past was so lame! Thank God that's shit's behind us.

  • @Nonsequitor415 In 20 years, your kids will be saying the same thing about today.

  • @Nonsequitor415 Wow. This is the first comment on YouTube that I've read that's not kissing up to the 1990s. While I don't necessarily agree, kudos.

  • Is this Canadian?

  • This video is horrible it needs to be kept away from the dont copy that floppy video lest they mate and we all die.

  • 400mb

  • Mo-DEM? not Mo-dum? Yeah she was believable as a PC nerd, especially when she said his son would really like a NASA website. No, he would like porn.

  • Pretty sure this is a few years after 1990. 486 DX66 did not come out till 1993 and Even though the web was technically around in 1990 People did not talk of surfing the internet until at least 94/95. I am going to guess this is a 1995 video. Definitely not before 93, The minimum specs for Hard drive and RAM were Super High end in 1990 and not minimum. I am going with 1995 on this clip.

  • (Real) Internet User Guide: Launch a web browser, use a search engine, watch ****, download copyrighted material for free, stream content you should pay for but don't want to, find all kinds of images and videos about cats, find out how much Justin Bieber is hated, give away your personal information, get bombarded with ads by google, get addicited, get a virus, forget about your life and more!

  • Is his name seriously Mr. Newbie?

  • 3:24

I wish the internet was that fun!

  • 1:45 The Internet will take your children!

  • Why are people here laughing at the specs? In another 15 years your kids will be laughing at the your specs today.

  • dude was caught with several hundred hard drives full of CP only 8 yrs later

  • They probably busted around $800 on that machine.

    It better run Crysis.

  • Mr.n00bie :D

  • Why would my dealer care about whether or not I'll be using the internet?

  • @Zvanunhoft So your dealer can sell you a modem if your computer doesn't have one.

  • Thumbs up if you think the bleep was porn.

  • @eeyk1993 I thought it was nyan?

  • If I had seen this when it came out, I probably would have quit playing with computers entirely and started playing football.

  • @xduranduran96x clap clap clap

  • 4 mb of system ram? ITS OVER 9000 bytes,

WHAT VEGETA?!?!!? THERES NO WAY THAT CAN BE RIGHT!

  • Forget the NASA website give the kid some goddamn porn.

  • I'd plug into her SCSI Interface.

  • Looks like Tobias from Arrested Development. xD

  • This is almost as square as some 1950s government film LOL

  • if it wasn't for the internet would the world really be a better place?

  • 1:33 Ah, c'est bon, c'est magnifique!

  • "Wow, this is a powerful computer!" An i486DX at 66 MHz LOL.

  • @TobiasTheebe i had something like that. god i'm old lol

  • Comment removed

  • "Make sure to tell your dealer that you'll be using it to access the internet" lol

  • I remember in 1998 in Singapore when computers are relatively new, and I'm sure they had computers this powerful back then.

  • But where can I see this without having been cut up in editing software? D:

  • 4 MB RAM!? I have 8 GIGA Bytes on mine! :D

  • The system specs on the machine are most definitely not from 1990. The 486 DX2 was introduced in 1992. So this video has to date to 1992 at the EARLIST. My bet is that it's closer to 1994-1995.

  • lol 4 mb

  • TELL YOUR DEALER!

  • I haven't started using internet since 1997

  • I wonder if it will work with my 1000 gig hard drive once this internet thing is released.

  • 0:56 "I C P"

  • Comment removed

  • I think the earliest I can remember was a 20 mb hard drive. Can't remember the size of ram on those...

  • When she said 'Punk Rock' I was in love.

  • 4mb of RAM? Looks like this isnt for me

  • 2:04 looks like some kind of fetish

  • LOL 0:52

"No, Noobie, I haven't broken the law!"

  • you know those 1950's fallout warning videos? One day people will watch this and think of them like this. SWEET.

  • Let's take a look at this complete listing of the 10 different country artists in existence.

  • 1:53 You know who also would like the internet creepy old single guys.

  • wow the internet sucked in the 90's

  • 400mb in 1990 was an unfuckingbelieveable amount of memory forget it even being a MINIMUM requirement so this must have been 1995 or later.

  • @RetroGamerr1991 400MB HDD Space not memory, memory was 4MB

  • @jeevaisnet I know that. RAM never came in numbers divisible by 10 anyway. You can use memory for describing RAM or HDD space.

  • @RetroGamerr1991 400MB of hard drive space, not memory.

  • @sp00nix well yeah no shit.

  • @RetroGamerr1991 well shit yeah! Didn't see your correction till now. My bad sir.

  • @sp00nix hah no problem man. You could probably understand how annoying it is that every day I have 3 replies saying the same thing.

  • @RetroGamerr1991 Television technology does change every few years. This would a mid 1990's Television.

  • @v19d I never said anything about TV.

  • @RetroGamerr1991

In 1995 a 400 mb hd was the norm 1 gbs were out. Ram was 4 mb until doom came out then everybody had to upgrade to 8. a 486 66 was ok but would have rather have had a pentium 75.

  • thanks for the video, this video is so gay

  • Fuck the internet, I want to learn more about Sarah's teleportation ability.

  • mo-Dem

  • This couldn't be from 1990, they mention the Web and the Web didn't come into existence until 1993.

  • this must have been a Canadian produced video as Mr Newbie is played by Jackson Davies, who was Constable John from The Beachcombers TV show

  • 1990? I don't even think the 486 hit the market until 93

  • so why does my dealer have to know if i'm buying a computer, obviously it doesn't affect him

  • "if you're still in the market for a computer, tell your 'dealer' you'll be needing it for the internet." Sounds like drugs to me?

  • On the old internet every button was beveled.

  • @_@ OMG are you insane? 4mb Ram? no one can have that. I dont work in a university or lab

  • ah yes the ppp connection
