Thank you guys. This really is a very simple and fun to build clockworks. Mine has been running flawlessly for a few weeks now and that little "Ding" every hour (or so...V&F escapements are not know for their accuracy) is a real joy. The wood is spaulted mango from a stump that a friend pushed off in my driveway a few years ago. Aloha.

A fine example of "less is more". Can't wait to build it myself. And that wood - that simply can't be beaten !!
