  • that sounded really good but . i think the 3" pipe would have been a little louder

  • @Mr85transamman The difference between 2.5 and 3 inch pipe would only change tone, not make it louder. Don't get me wrong, the FM AMT system is awesome. Check out a more aggressive rev video I should have posted months ago.

  • @Mr85transamman u run 3 inch on a NA car you lose bottom end torque so the cars slower off the line A little extra sound isn't worth getiin lauched on

  • I just ordered the doug thorley shorty for my g8 gt. Can u hear and feel a difference with them on?

  • Yes. Difference in both sound and the butt dyno. Not like I suspect Long Tube headers would but it is noticeable over stock. I'm very happy with them.

  • I would like to know also if you don't mind. Thanks

  • I think the AMT system is going for just under $1000 so you would definitely come out cheaper doing this yourself with Super 44s instead. Axle back leaves the resonators. If you remove the resonators, that just leaves the "H" section of the exhaust behind the cats so you might as well change out the H for and X section too. I think the flowmaster/X-pipe combo I chose sounds better. Go to Flowmaster's website and view the AMT video to judge for yourself.

  • that sounds awesome -- wrek

  • sounds like sex to me!

  • Nice! Thinking of goin with the American Thunder Flowmaster 409s cat back for my L99. Would you recommend that or goin with a custom x pipe or stock exhaust and adding super 44's, be cheaper to do either the 2 over the ATF but thinkin of goin ith it anyways. any recommendations?
