  • Whoa, that was so lame......

  • I have one, it's such an awsome bike!!! I love it! :)

  • another rip off

  • what is the name of this song in the beginning?

  • Jon Siedl is as ghey as two boys in a bath tub, seriously can't Honda have someone more cool?

  • I was ready to buy one until the sales tax in Commiefornia went up to 9.5%. Now, I don't get one, Honda doesn't make anything, the dealer gets nothing, everyone loses. What's wrong with this rotten state!

  • @aTellerOfTruths Dear fellow Californian, the California sales tax is 6.25%. "Between April 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2011, the state sales and use tax increased by 1% as a result of the 2008-2009 California budget crisis." As you know, 6.25% + 1% = 7.25%, not 9.5%. In any case, as it is currently past June 30, 2011, the California sales tax is back down to 6.5%.

You can also go and buy your Honda in Nevada (6.85% sales tax), Arizona (6.6% sales tax), or Oregon (0% sales tax).

    Whine on whiny

  • Suzuki 650 V-Strom is far superior in design, reliability and performance. For example; any V twin should be transverse mounted in a shaft driven bike. So the crankshaft revolves in the same direction as the driveshaft. Otherwise, 2 differentials (transferring power on right angle - like on a RWD car - are needed).

  • Hello from south Portugal, I have a 2006 Honda NT700V with about 21.500 miles. Posting here the pros and cons. Remember, my version is an earlier European model, some things might gotten fixed on this. Downsides: -Lack of power, only 65bhp. -A lot of vibration due to the V2 engine at higher rpm's, up to 70mph you wont notice unless above 200 mile trip. -Heat between your legs -Tires lose air -Bad plastics quality -Needs 6th gear Upsides -Fabulous torque, due to the V2 Engine -Mileage -Storage
  • @ficalheiro -Price -Versatility

Cheers, any questions, feel free to send me any messages :)

  • Its not a review, its marketing!!! tell us the cons too...

  • Great Looking practical commuter bike that is good on gas thanks Honda much better looking than the old Pacific Coast

  • ok so this was a good review all and all blah blah blah, seen a ton. but that camera pass through in the back seriously freaked me out!! i dont even know what i would use that for but seriously , that IS a cool feature!! dont know if the length of that is wider than the saddlebags , it should. windshield adjustment is cool too

  • it;s a shame honda gave up intirely its naked bike line in the USA - while in europe they can injoy cbf 600/1000, we here are offered this pathetic nt700

  • im starting to seriously consider getting a motorbike, fuel economy and everything considered it seems like a plus plus.

  • Okay, I wasn't impressed until I saw the pass-thru saddlebags. Impressive.

  • More gauges than my car.

  • This bike is so disappointing. Honda should have brought over the TransAlp to compete with the Vstrom. Same bike as the Dullville, but with removable bags and oh so much better looking.

  • I would consider this bike but am concerned about strong open road crosswinds here in the midwest. This was the downfall of our former PC800 Honda - you could not keep it on the road in crosswinds.

  • @alleyhse No worries, it weighs 18 billion tons so it is unaffected by cross winds.

  • You're correct fwbrc1, the bike is based on the old NT650.

  • looks like the nt650 hawk gt motor

  • Picked it up today and half to say it is growing on me. I can't say it is an attractive bike but it is a means to an end. 50+ MPG is much better than any cage I own.

  • Not much of a review. I looked at one at my dealer. It looks like a good bike. I have a ST1100 and its not a good bike for riding around town and going slow. Its more of a highway bike. This one seems a lot lighter and sits lower. That is two good points in its favor.

I wonder how it would do on a long tour? It has about 65 hp. That is not bad for the engine size, but might be low for loaded touring on the highway.

I put over 1000 miles on mine in one day. I wanted a Gold Wing that day.

  • @3619Country

It is a quite old model, google honda deauville, there is a lot of reviews - we got it in Europe for a long time.

Cops uses this bike in Slovakia.

  • This is called a Varadero 700 in europe.

  • @simon44

    Wrong. Vara is an XL650.

This bike is a descendant of NT650 (late 80's, early 90's).

  • @jtomos Correction its called a Honda Deauville NT700 actually. Very little power from these machines. Shame really :/

  • And where's that review? This is a paid commercial..

  • i guess that is a pretty fair price but i still don't understand why their 600 is $10,500 for last year

all i can say is: whatever, I'll buy used.

  • Do you even know what the REVIEW stands for?

  • Yes, that is odd. You'd think they would call it a "preview" or "intro".

  • holy shit pause at 00:18, there is a gallardo in the background, orange

  • good eyes

  • good eyes bro !!.. It almost took away from the fact that I just watched a gay guy preview a motorcycle lol the Lambo made me feel a little better lol

  • lol no prob

  • @VegetasRage Good eye, i needed to look twice

  • eh, not a fan of those bikes

  • Ok so the saddlebag pass through was cool...

  • first comment :D
