(cont.) Kataang and Maiko to me are "first-love" relationships. But the series ended on a high note for Zutara because now Zuko has Katara's complete friendship, trust and admiration, something he didn't before. Now the burden of the past is no longer in the way of them someday becoming more. It made sense to end with Kataang in the series because they still have a lot of growing to do, but I fully imagine Zutara in the future. Plus, Zutara was the original ship so it will always have potential

Awesome vid and the clips you used were really wonderful. What was the episode in which Zuko and Katara were fighting side by side? Against earth benders I think? And as for how the series ended; well, I think of it this way:

The creators had originally planned for Zuko and Katara to be together but thought that since it was a kid's show, the main guy should end up with the main girl. But I still see them as ending up together because let's face it, right now they're still kids.

Aang likes Katara but she rejects him because she confused. Then the whole finale her and Zuko have amazing moments together and then somehow Katara goes back to Aang. So the Katra Aang part of the triangle isn't really there. So no, no triangle
