Believe me the charts are nothing but monopoly, very rarely will a decent tune to music lovers break through. Sales, awards & chart-hits mean very little when in dialogue. Matt isn't crap, he's a good singer but many hate the monopoly of X-Factor & how clean cut and pop-made the covers they do are with the big ballad 10second-held note at the end always is.
Also Simon (Biffys singer) prosody is MUCH better than matts, its why many say he sings with more ''emotion'' than Matts.

What is worse is that there is a stupid key change in the X Factor version, something they keep doing and it's getting old. I listened to the "Top 20 X Factor Songs" and they were all structured the same, same instruments with a climatic ending.
