  • What is this song called?

  • I ship monday to Parris Island

    \

  • at what point in boot camp do Marines receive their EGA? during the graduation ceremony or right after the crucible? just curious, i'm enlisting this February

  • @raverboi89 those marines that were looking too the right were not wrong. . . . . . .everyone looks to he right except for 4th squad. The drill movement is called "Eyes Right"

  • damn they must have been trained at paris island

  • 4:22 nice alignment!

5:09-5:11 no discipline got marines turning their head while marching straight nasty!

  • @raverboi89 That's "EYES RIGHT", Raver. It displays respect to the reviewing stand (where the CG, dignitaries & guests are), while the 4th squad serves as the base of the movement. They (4th squad) don't turn their heads, so they can maintain a perfectly straight line of march. The other squads dress on the 4th squad. The Platoon Sgt (DI) and Platoon Guide at the head of the platoon will PRESENT ARMS w/NCO sword & Giudeon. They're right according to the USMC manual for close order drill, OooRah?

  • @FLSHBK1 i must have been high when i wrote that XD semper fidelis!!! lol

  • Phssss like the Island was hard.... San Diego is harder than f*ck!! lol

    S/F

    Plt 3031 SD 2002

  • I was Army in RVN with the 101st. My dead friend was a Marine, Doug Jacobson, who got the CMH on IWO. He and I just drank scotch.

Why? If a snake bites me or a scorpion stings me, I do not wish to know WHY.

And all of you Marines? You can kiss my ass.

  • where do you go after u graduate do you get leave or do u automatically start your job

  • you can graduate and then choose to go study somethin totaly difrent , or go have a normal job at the mall or somethin :)

but when your country is under attack , you must go back to the marines and fight

  • oh ok like i know they will have listings but in war u get automatically sent to infantry?

  • yes , you can try to hide , but if they catch you , and you're not out there fighting , you'll get punished for it

  • oh ok thanks for the info were you in the core ?

  • yes , but not even for a year

  • why u never graduate boot camp?? or after that u didnt go 2 MOS or wat eva its called for advanced rifle training ?

  • i got kicked out for to agressive behaviour against one of the DI's xd

  • all of them smh

  • you spelled "corps" wrong and kolashov doesnt know shit lol talk to a recruiter and research

  • E-3 in Army Navy Coast Guard and Air Force

    E-3 in The Marines

  • WHY ????

  • i mean E-2 in The marines

  • @imanoob4 E-2 in the Marine Corps is Private First Class. They wear one stripe, but without the crossed rifles

  • yea as far as pay is concerned

  • goin to watch one of my buddys graduate tommorow from san diego. cant wait till january 19th when i go.

  • Don't forget your camera, it's something you'll never forget.

  • If he got Pfc when he passed boot camp, that meas he was in ROTC or JROTC. I'm just wondering, which branch of ROTC was he in?

  • Or he got meritorious, or had some sort of other college credit.

  • what rank do you get if you go to jrotc and pass bootcamp?

  • @RedFang4 I think PFC

  • @imanoob4

that does not mean he was in ROTC or JROTC. PFC is given to the honor graduate of each class. Most schools do not have a JRTOC program for the USMC. Most of them are Army or Air Force.

  • You can never really articulate how proud you are of your loved ones when they graduate Marine Corp boot. - It is unreal pride.

  • i just got back from marine corps boot camp last saturday, but i was at San diego's MCRD.

    Visitor's thursday was fucking amazing.

  • Now the suck really starts.

  • at 2:11 his bed corner is messed up :P lol. Anyway good luck Pepin or who ever went through basic.

  • What is going on at 2:38?

  • He is getting his Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem. Some drill instructor hold somethings back to motivate you and to challenge so you could look foward to be a Marine. My drill instructor wouldn't allow us to blouse our boots or unbuton our first buton of our camy shirt. He told us we were not Marines till we were done. As soon as we passed second phase bootcamp he allowed us to unbuton the buton but no blousing the boot. I guess this Drill Istructor held back the emblem

  • Uhh Rahh

  • THIS IS THE BEST BOOT CAMP SONG...

  • my brother graduates at the end of this month and i cant wait to see him

  • Wow GREAT video, unlike GovVance I think the song couldnt have been better.

    Semper Fi.

  • If you are going to MCRD SD have fun in Golf Company. :) You will be seeing me around the Depot quiet often.

  • lucky you hope i ship out by june

  • did they not teach those recruits how to salute, directley to the right of eyeball

  • that was beautiful

  • nice vid....cant wait to be in the marines

  • Great vid, I leave for the Island Sept 22. to be molded into a Marine.

  • parris island?

  • yes

  • awesome vid cant wait for me to leave to the island =3

  • Semper Fi

  • Great video! Put me close to tears because I can remember my initial training and all the confidence I had in myself and my fellow troops after I completed weeks of training. It was a definite rite of passage for myself and Im sure for countless others. I had a great 3 years to look forward to wearing the uniform.

  • what song is this

  • its done by Billy Joel, not sure of the title though

  • its goodnight saigon by billy joel

  • Thanks guys. No matter what the fight, you've fought for us. God bless you and yours!

  • Why do they march out in 2 uniforms?

  • haha Im a canadian, but Im seriously thinking of going to the States and becoming a citizen just so I can join the Marines... been talking to a recruiter about it and everything... Liked the vid

  • Too bad that Marine is a Marksman. lol Gotta get that score up brother.

  • wat company is he in?? i was in 3rd batalion wen i went through MCRD Parris Island, with Mike Company.

as for the whole is it hard in the army question.

well im not in the army, im a united states marine. and yes there are times when it is very hard mentally and physically, but... the corps has provided me so far with so many oportunities that NOBODY back home woulda ever done. I cant even try and regret a single second of it.

    OORAH and Semper Fi

    Jonnieboi

  • Bless them all:) my brother just graduated from PI this week :)

  • is it hard life in the army?

  • It is true freedom, the most rewarding lifestyle any man or woman could choose. Civilians see it as restrictive, but it's not. It's amazing. You go to places people only dream of. You do things people can't dream of. You get paid to do it. The benefits are awesome. The women adore you. It's something to really be proud of, whether you're a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Coastguardsman. You will be hard-pressed to ever find someone who regrets the choice.

  • and you are?...marine?...soldier?

    respect! =D

  • Former Soldier, short-term. Regretting every second I'm not with my brothers in Iraq. Two of them from my BCT/AIT platoon are dead. I'm busting ass hard for a waiver to go back in, Marine Corps this time. In their words: "It ain't gonna be easy. But if you wanna put in the effort, it can be done. Is it worth it? Hell yeah it is!"

  • respect man!

  • no not at all only the recruting of zoals we normaal zegge de opleiding als je er eenmaal bij zit niet meer.

  • waarom niet?

  • is it hard life in the army?

  • I was in Fox 2/7 1993-1997 3rd plt. Some of us used to listen to it. Hits hard

  • holy crap my brother just joined the marnies and his name is Zach Pepin only he went to MCRD

  • MCRD is Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Every enlisted Marine goes to either MCRD San Diego or MCRD Parris Island. This is the only route for enlisted to become U.S. Marines. What platton was your brother in?

  • san diego

  • I asked what platoon he was in.

  • 2016

  • damn i miss that place

  • Im joining the USMC "2008"

    Cant Wait x) OoRaH!

  • lucky...

  • semper fi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hmm, just came up with a new quote while watching this,, "Civilians fight for their lives, soldiers live for the fight"

  • these are Marines. not soldiers.

  • Did I say something about Marines?

  • No you didn't sir, thats why I corrected you.

  • Well, what is there to correct, no mistakes made.

"If you don't have the time to do it right, will you have the time to do it again?"

But may I then ask you, does this count for Marines?

"A coward dies a thousands deaths, a soldier dies but once"

  • Well if it was "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a Marine dies but once" it would count for Marines. Bottom line is Marines are not soldiers. Lol, and why are we even going in depth with this?

  • Why not? lol..

    'Cause we can..

  • whatever bro.

  • Yeh..

let's call this over and out..

  • haha US marines make me laugh. marine commandos ftw

  • the most smartest indeed

  • i join next year, and i will be goin to parris island, south carolina. i believe that joining will be the most smartest move of my life and most honorable. right now im in NJROTC in church hill, TN. my 1st SGT is my biggest influence and i hope to make my family proud. OOH RA!!!!!

  • Less than 2% of American's have claimed that title. Do you have what it takes?

  • This just gave me chills and brought back every single memory. Semper Fi! PLT 4018, 4BN, N Co.

  • I graduated in Feb 0f 04; and I can tell you that after 13 weeks of isolation less letters; family day which is the day before graduation is amazing. I will never forget it, or my time on the island. As ironic as it might sound; my time there was some of the best of my life.

  • I am a canadian soldier and i salute you Marines! Be careful overthere save youre life and youre buddies dont die for a stupid war like that, dont die for youre country come back in life we need you.

  • Thanks brother. I was in Iraq in Feb of 03 when the war first started. It's good to hear encouragement from other brothers in arms, even though it was a few years back.

  • Oorah! Plt 3078, 3 Bn, L Co. Semper Fi.

  • this is an awesome video..and the song too. love it. oohrah.

  • i agree the news has there heads up there ass are troops are out there kicking ass and fighting for us im only 15 and am going to join the marines so boyrichboy get your pussy ass put there and try it

  • the news is compiled of a bunch of cock swallowing pussies..that have no clue what its like to have a bullet fly past there head...or a ied go off next to there feet.

  • OOOOORAH!!! What makes the grass grow?? BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD!!! Congrats Marines!!

  • Well this one has a pizza box, dont count on him shooting anything.

  • lol

  • thank god for marines

  • Oh, and blackjackbenja should be ignored. Stupid "clowns" like him are half the problem in these United States.

  • Only ignorant liberals say that the marines, soldiers, sailors, and airmen of this country are anything but heroes. Only ignorant conservatives say that liberals on a whole do not support our troops. My cousin is a Sergeant in the U.S. Army 75th Ranger batt., C company. Im going to be a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne in not to long. Both of us are liberals in an otherwise conservative family. Don't make generalizations. Semper Fi Private. Best of luck in the Corps.

  • i love this video.

  • blackjackbenja, ur a jacka**, its ppl like u make us look bad.

  • Kick ass vid, Marine.

  • SEMPER FI! Well done. Carry on.

  • Very Well Done! Glad I had tissue near me. Thank You to ALL who are serving and who have served. YOu are all HEROES in my book!!

    OORAH!

  • very nice compulation i graduated the island in 94 lookin at that brings back memories..semper fi...

  • At ease Marines, we only fuck over the other ones. Semper Fi

  • Congrats Private Pepin!!! :)

  • spounk41: you mean iraq? what a bunch of ignorant clowns.

  • The only ignorant clown here is you! These honorable men fight for your freedom of speech and you go and call them clowns!! What kind of ignorant a**hole are you? They're out there giving their lives while all you libs run in the other direction.

  • other than the fact that im a hollywood marine, this was a pretty cool video. i especially liked the section with the recruit getting IT'd...oh the memories!

  • blackjackbenja...hmmm. You can't be a steer, you must be a queer. Only talk if you've walked. Semper-fi..god-speed private! Marines do or die while liberals bitch and cry!

  • what a bunch of clowns

  • We put our asses on the line so you can keep your right of freedom of speech and that's how you use it, to call us clowns. You're pathetic! I'm with mnieto1962 on this one, we don't like fags in our marine corps

  • That was remarkably, incredibly well done. I can honestly say that Family Day and Graduation Day on Parris Island remain to be some of the happiest days of my life. That really captures the feelings I think all new Marines have leaving the Island. Amazing.

  • Out...STANDING, Marines! For those who've been there and done that (Platoon 224, MCRD PISC, 1965), a drop of Chesty's blood flows through our viens. God speed you both past harm's way. Te salutimus.

  • brave and proud yes. but he is not a soldier. he is a MARINE! semper fi

  • nice video man! congratulations

  • Wow! We were just there 1 month ago. Our oldest son graduated from Parris Island on April 27. This is exactly how I remember the two wonderful days. Very proud moments for the family. SEMPER FI!

  • Brought back a ton a memories...I stood on those yellow footprints on Parris Island in 1985. I was recently medically discharged and retired from the Corps after 22 years. I was a Captain in the Force Recon. I spent my first 12 years enlisted...made it to MSGT. I Mustanged in 1997. I was blown up by insurgents in Iraq. I lost both legs; however my spirit has not left me. Semper Fi do or die!!!! I did two tours in Afganistan and was starting my fourth tour in Iraq. SEMPER FI!!!!

  • That's an amazing career; you are a true veteran!!

May God bless you for the sacrifices you've made for your country!!!

  • SEMPER FI Marine, I was medically discharged last year and I miss the hell outta the Corp. I wish I could go back in. You're a true freakin warrior, OOHRAH! Kill

  • A true brave soldier, you must be proud of yourself!

you know your country will be forever grateful for what you have done.

  • Thank you for your service! You are a Hero in my book!!

  • i am scarred shitless but at the same time cant wait to go to bootcamp lol semper fi

  • Thanks devildog..wish we had wm's on my moto run, now that would have been motivating...

  • Marines that are still in, take as many pictures as you can. I depolyed twice and wish I had more now that I've been out for about 2 years.

  • What's this song called? It's awesome for the military.

  • Awesome vid!

  • Did I see a woman DI in that video? Are they training the men now?

  • yes, there are female DIs but they only train the women

  • That was always the case, but look at the video, there is a dark green woman DI running alongside the platoon.

  • They only run with the men for the Moto Run, other then that they do not train the male Marines.

  • just out of curiosity, does the poster of the video know the names of the drill instructors?

  • omg..i made my last comment without watching the video...this guy looks just like me...it is scary i look exactly like this guy

  • tyler you have no respect..but i agree with the youth are horrible to waste...i dont need to go to marines cause i no if i had to i could do it

  • Ahh the Marine Corps sucks. Cold, wet, tired, dirty, depressed and hungry. Freedom , individuality and youth are horrible things to waste.

  • Semper Fi brothers..

    (whos the song by?)

  • Billy Joel

  • Billy Joel

  • nice video, it was good to see it my Marine is a master sgt already but he started at the bottom too. he is being deployed back to iraq again and just checking out some Marine videos, loved the song God bless all our troops

I STAY DOWN FOR MY MARINE AND MY MARINE STAYS DOWN FOR HIS COUNTRY<3 SEMPER FI

  • Very nice video, cried the whole way thru, brought back many memories of that cold day on Oct. 28th, 2005 when my son joined the United States Marine's. Thanks for sharing and good luck to you and your Marine's. OOH RAH!

  • Great video, I also cried throughout the whole video. Prayers for our Marines, Ooh-Rah from a very Proud Marine Mom!

  • Very touching. I cryed through the whole thing.
