for Window 7...

1st.Goto>Control Panel>Program and Features>Avast!Pro Anti-Virus double click on it.

wait the installer appear.Then just looking for............

2nd method is trying to reinstall the Avast!Pro Anti-Virus.

3rd method is restart your computer if still can't up to date.Set your update mode>Automatic.Once your computer restart it will automatic update your anti-virus database.
