This happens only in the States.. From where I come from, it is advised to put down the animal. This is one thing good in the States. Vets here only attend to dogs and cats and the only surgery they do is to neuter and spay. IN the States, they have animal hospitals and from that it really means ANIMAL so just about any kind of animal can be treated. There was a dog who had no hind legs and he had to drag his behind. If it were in the States, He could have been fitted with a wheelchair...

I have a Chihuahua, her name is Brandy. I havn't seen her in over a month, because I moved and I couldn't take her with me. Someone is taking care of her, but seeing this....it hurts. This poor Chihuahua looks so so sad, I'm so glad that you have helped her receive as closely to normal life as she could. I seen the other video so I know she's being loved and taken care of. Thats beautiful. My new goal after seeing this is getting my dog here with me..

I cant imagine why they did not place her back in line. However this is what you have been given. I can see that. i love my chi. I am sad for yours. The back bone will become less sharp over time. Don't give up on her!! We too have a paralyzed chihuahua, it took a lot of work in the begining but he is so happy now, we are glad we gave him a chance and did not put him down. His hind legs do not function, nor does his bladder. He uses the wheelchair mainly outside and I find it easier for him just to have his hind legs in a sling, he can go faster and maneuver better in it. Its almost been 3 years since he's been handicapped and he is doing great. Keep us posted!
