  • I bet the guy that made this video sang that shitty music

  • im doing the same thing but its going to be all land and im putting a gray tree frog, a green tree frog, and some firebelly toads in there cool right!!!!!!! and gotta question how do i delete a video?

  • you can put carnivorous plants, niceeeeeeeee !

  • you should have geckos

  • Do your succulents do alright with so much water? I'll be putting rain hoses into my tank, and I'm worried they won't survive.

  • how did you keep the island separate from the water section did u use any kind of special glue to keep the divider from falling or anything?

  • That's not 65 gallons LOL. That's a 20h.

  • awful

  • this is a pretty cool setup but the music is a little gay... i like the island thing and the way u set up wit plantsland water rocks etc

  • toto-africa , good song

  • Awesome! You should add an african clawed frog or two!

  • @GeckoKing44 lol!

  • yo should have put the island in the middle

  • what song is this my sound hound can't find it.

  • nice job! what is that greenish moss you have on the island? what kind of flooring did you use for the island? Is the moss live?

  • Be carfull green tree frog cant swim at all they drown

  • wat clear stuff did u use to seperate land from water

  • I'm making a vivarium and I was wondering wat you used for the ground in the dry area

  • why dont you get some good looking frogs, these toads looks disgusting

  • how do you maintain the fog soley above water?

  • are those bombina orientalis in your "african" landscape ? :D

  • @mandabogs ok thanks

  • hey I'm planning to get two fire belly toads. I just wanna though do you absolutely need a filter?? i

  • @Mah080290 I think the filter is the way to go. otherwise you will need to clean the area every few days

  • cool vivarium

  • how did you get the fog over the water?

  • @Midnight2534 I bought a fogger from the pet store

  • just fyi succulents will die in that type of environment. there roots can be wet only when being waterd and they need to be watered once a month. they live in very dry conditions...

  • @oreowithmilk1 Thanks. they lasted quite a long time and I dont mind replacing them they give the tank an awesome unique look

  • The fog looks hot :D

    Yes fog, not frog.

  • Someday i'll get a couple a fire bellied toads :)

  • @kenny123663 They are really cool pets to have!!

  • the island idea is pritty damn good if i say so my self...

you shoulda done a smaller island in the other corner.. like much smaller.. woulda looked kinda better IMO but hey what suits you i suppose

  • @TedWinni yea I ended up adding fish to the tank which was the plan the whole time so i wanted a larger water section.

  • thats the coolest one I'v seen! :)

  • @daturtle9065 Thans it was alot of hard work

  • ha nice one....i have a 200 gallon tank for one 5 foot corn snake.....dont ask why

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!

    the fogger is cool

  • 1 word......epic i like how u combined land and water for that all your frogs can use

  • must be hell to clean it afterwards lol

  • How's the Maintenance like? Water? Feeding?

  • That paludarium is great one thing tho.. I thought that fire bellies were from Asia.

  • @LunasCraincloud they are (Bombina orientalis), song is Africa anyway lol

  • @busterlimes Ah ok then, there still groovy little dueds I just went and bought one And I am going to be getting two more.

and I am having no trouble at all keeping them with my RES Turt'

IT may be because of the tank setup, they have there own space and habitat.

  • there are actually fire -belly toads from china and from california

  • i love it

  • It's probably plexiglass.

  • does anybody know what that plastic thinggy that devides the water and land....and where can i get one?

  • how do you clean it with the mud and all that? looks difficult!

  • it does...but oviously worth it

  • @IvIustangsvt2003 thanks =)

  • no problem...

  • i would rather have salamanders in there then frogs...but nice

  • Dammn - that is so cool! I would live in one of those if i could!

  • Thank You

  • Hi! I will be making my own Vivarium soon but right now I'm still gathering info. I'm a total newbie. Anyway, where did that fog at 0:49 come from? Is it C02? Please... anyone please tell me! Thanks a bunch!! =)

  • It is a fogger for vivariums you can get one at your local pet store, I bought mine from pet smart

  • Thank you for the info!! Now I know better. =)

  • nice

  • did you use silicone to seperate the land and water

  • Well then go look at the ecobox. I bet you could do better. You are just another hater on youtube get a life..

  • that ecobox shit was boring as hell wtf is deathav talkin bout. what a friggin dork!

  • how did you seperate water from land

  • I used Plexiglas and non toxic sealant to attach it where I wanted it.

  • @frogmaster404 even though this is not considered a "real paludarium" to some people, as a "real pauldarium" to the "pros" is actual water-land contact

  • awsome how much did that co

    st

  • Vivariums dont need cleaning at all if you set it up correctly, its like its own ecosystem

  • lol its africa in a box now weres the nba

  • i have 2 in a 30 30 30 exo terra terarium and one of them is really fat and hides al day is that just her personalty and do frogs get pregnant?

  • that's cool. I just made a half land half water viv for my two salamanders. I don't have any video's yet.

  • Where did the fog come from? just curious.. like did you use a fog machine or did it just naturally occur... can it naturally occur in a vivarium? I'm new to this stuff so I really don't know.

  • love it... absolutely love it... the fog over the water is amazing

  • Very sweet them frogs are lucky they have such a sweet place to hang! I thought about doing a vivarium with my 80 gallon hexagon tank but i went with another fish tank instead still debating what to put in it though.

Five out of five very nice!!!

  • looks kwl over all nice touch with the fogger. : )

  • you definatly seem to no what ur doing so im throwing some questions at u..im getting a fire belly and was wondering what the best setup for them was..mostly aquatic, mostly terrestrial or half & half..also what size would best fit 1 fire belly

  • you can put a few together in a 10 gallon tank. half water and land is always a good idea since you want to create a nice environment for the toad to live in.

  • that, is sexy!

  • now thats dedication usually when people buy fire belly toads they throw them in shitty 5 gallon tanks with dirty water and then forget about them

  • where did you get that thing that divides the water and land?? ive been lookin for that thing everywhere

  • It is a custom made piece. They do not sell in stores

  • what do you use to grow the plants in? It isnt regular dirt; is it?

  • yes it is an organic mix bought from the store. Do not use anything with fertilizer in it.

  • how did you make the fog??

  • it is a fog machine you by from the pet store that goes inside the tank

  • wow. Im jealous. Haha. The fog is a nice touch! ive only got a 20gal tall for my two fire bellies. but they love it. its the aquatic setup of course. (25%land 75% water)

  • AWEOSME! lols if animals can resist the toxin thn my schnieders can i have 2 schneiders along wit 2 toads thye love it

  • howd you keep it from leakin

  • Yes because water leaks through solid glass...

  • Nice Vivarium

  • that is awesome!! mite have to try something like that..

  • i think i love you

  • coool enclosure :D

  • Fire-Bellied Toads are from Asia

  • Sorry, but you're not really supposed to mix speices especially with fire bellied toads as they produce a toxin that can kill the othe animals in the encloure.

  • actually some animals can stand the toxin produced by the toad

  • Damn Nice vivarium i have a 30 gallon looks like yos and i also have 2 tree frogs and 3 fire bellied toads in it

o and also mine has a waterfall you should add one to yours

  • LOL great vivarium, love the choise of song lol

  • What kind of plastic stuff do you use to divide it?

  • very nice tank i wish i can do something lik that someday!

  • finally! someone that went all out to make a vivarium for there pets... I tip my hat to you.

  • NICE TANK

    an inspiration to all!!!

whats the name of the song

  • Africa

  • africa by toto

  • this one is a cover by Umphrey's McGee

  • awesome

  • I like it a lot. If I were you I'd get another tree frog in there.

Question... That divider, is that just curved plastic?

  • Yes it is a piece of Plexiglas that we stuck in there with non toxic kitchen adhesive.

  • how long did it take u to make that?

  • Pretty cool setup, the mist was a bit much for that small-ish enclosure. VERY nice, but flyingscientist AKA Greg has the best.

  • amazing you've inspired me !

  • where did you get that thing that seperates the water from land?

  • How do you make fog in there?

    BTW, this is really neat.

  • nice song to go with theme!

  • awesome!

  • nice viv i like the creativity.....

  • nice set up

  • Awesome.

  • sweet set up

  • beautitul beautiful beautiful

  • how do you get the plastic thing to stay put? its a great idea

  • Good work. get some darts and you can really go wild with it

  • wow 250 - 300 tank for fbt? lol chinese water dragon

  • 10000000000000000000000/10 nice setup ive got one just like it

  • i have a 95 for my chinese water dragon and my toads in a seperate 50 can i put them together ???

  • it depends on how big the water dragon is...

  • africa? fbt are from asia? Although you do have the golden form that are from russia. Both bombia orientalis though, anyway you shouldnt really mix the 2 species. Fbt carry so many toxins, ive seen cases of people putting in fbts with pacman frogs and the pacman frog has been dead within the hour. They both have different.

  • when breed in captivity fbt lose their toxins. they think it is because their diets change but have not proved it. All of these frogs have been living together happily now for over a year. We also have added a newt and a anole with no problems. We keep the water supply fresh and regularly clean it. No problems with the fish we have added to the water either.

  • Ive never heard of that before, but if there all living fine then i guess your a lucky one. I just wanted to point it out, to check you wasn't just putting species together. Thinking for the animals you know, don't mean to bitch.

  • what did you do to get the fog bank? Really awesome!

  • a fogger...$60 pet co land smart..one of those

  • how'd you do the fog!?

  • Awesome nice job!!

  • The is an awesome setup!

  • what an awesome video and set up..

    it truly is a paradise

  • must be a bitch to clean

  • Umphrey's McGee eh?

Nice simple design that turned out well.

  • A fire belly toad and a tree frog?Nice:D

  • I like the setup, but what do you use for water filtration? I am building a 75 gallon vivarium and the only thing I am hung up on is filtration.

I want a fairly deep pond with a waterfall, atop the waterfall I want a fogger. I have been thinking that a good filter could provide the filtration and the waterfall but placement of the fogger could present a problem.

  • we used a reptile waterfall filter. water goes in the bottom, and comes out the top, the water can be up to a foot deep or as low as a quarter inch.

  • The Fire Bellied toads are poisonous thats why the are red.Don't keep them with the tree frogs unless you want them dead.

  • we have had them together awhile now and have no problems

  • Mixing FBTs is not a death sentence, especially if the water is filtered properly. I had squirrel frogs in with one of my FBTs for years. They sat on his head all the time, but they never got sick.

  • yes... they are poisonous but, most of their toxins are emitted into the water... where the tree frogs arent. plus the toxins are very mild

  • everything about the viv is sick I really like it but i think that little plastic thing separating the water and substrate should be removed. i honestly think it disturbs the overall natural appearance of the Viv. anyways none the less everyone needs to admit thats a sick tank. good job

  • if the divider wasnt there the water would be full of dirt

  • I like the dimensions of a 65 gallon tank and think it works really well for a vivarium. It gives surface area plus height so you can build it up and also have nice viewing space. I would like to do a vivarium with dart frogs and I think this size would work really well. Nicely done! Love the fogger!

  • Of course that is 65 gallons it's a vivirarium which means that it has more room from top to bottom then it does across the bottom.

  • Really? Does Math mean anything to you? If i have a 65(larger number)gallon and you are getting a 50(smaller number)gallon, tell me. How is it bigger? I would love to see the math on that one. One more question. When you were at my house did you take measurements?
