Hence when replicator carter is probing Daniel's mind, there was too much for her to handle. I feel the Ori are using knowledge from other races around the universe gained from being ascended, not depending on their technology from way back when before they were all religious like. The ancients didn't have the knowledge of the universe before ascension.
@Zeemis even so, we've seen some pretty amazing technology from the ancients, like the ZPM, and their drones, the ori still use energy-beam based technology, powerful, yes, but the drones are way more effective, and the ancients don't need to worry about power usage
@Stargate674 Carter mentions in one of the episodes where they're all sitting around the table discussing the super gate that the Ori have something better than a ZPM powering the super gate.
It takes a lot of power from a ZPM to power a normal gate to connect to another galaxy, we've seen this in Atlantis. They're powering a gate that's 20 times the size a normal gate is, and from another galaxy. It's true the drones are powerful, I'd like to see them go against an Ori ship.
@Zeemis Yes, that was a clever idea of the Ori, they imploded a planet, creating a black hole, we know that a black hole can keep a stargate open permenantely, they didn't use an actual man-built power source, but I admit it is smart. I do think that those Ori ships won't stand a chance against Aurora classed vessels, if an Ori ship can't handle an Asgard energy beam, I don't think it will do good against drones, since we know the Asgard aren't even near the Ancients
But the Asgard beam destroys even aurora class vessels with ease. I think the asgard arent that far away from the ancients, their beam is more powerful then ancient laser weapons, and they invented instant transport technology while ancients are stuck on ringtransporters.

Anubis would have been at least a strong as a pryor. And in the beginning of the war was all the Ori could do was send the pryors, they couldnt affect the milky way galaxy without establishing a following. And anubis retained the knowledge he had while ascended. So the Ancients could have givin him cut him some slack as long as he used that knowledge to battle the Ori.
The Aincents constructed the STARGATE and related technology...the Ori only know how to use it because they ascended. Did you even watch Ark of Truth? The aincent who 'invented' stargates left the Ori galaxy with the rest...so,how could Ori know about Stargates?
The Alterrans and the Ori were THE SAME RACE with only different beliefs. There is absolutely NO reason to assume that Ori technology is in any way inferior to Lantian tech. The Ori do have Ring transporters and they do have Stargates. As Daniel said "Ascension does not make you all-knowing".
The Ancients and the Ori were the same race, but only until a certain point when the ancients left. In the Ark of Truth it is suggested that the stargate was at the time only a design on an ancient notebook. Hence the Ori developed this technology eventually, prior to ascension, or found about it after the ascension(more likely).
Anubis stands no chance against the Ori, his ships can be taken out by the Tauri Ships themselves, the only problem is that he may outnumber teh Tauri, but the Ori wipes him out !

I have to disagree. The wraith had numbers on their side, granted. However, considering the ori grow in numbers (followers etc) who are willing to die for the ori..plus the personal shield carrying priors..i'd put my money on the ori.

You are right, the Ancients that were fighting the Wraith had not yet ascended and were peaceful (not focused on weapons research). Where as the Ori who would fight the Wraith are ascended and have vast knowledge of the workings of the universe to make their armies and ship almost invincible and very destructive. The Ori "Toilet" ships were just version 1, think of what they could have come up with if they had a few years and converted followers with more advanced construction technology.

Well, in that way they are gods. But they are still lying about theirselves. They are not all knowing, all powerful nor the creators of the universe. They evolved slowly by evolution. In that way they are just advanced humans. Gods and humans are essiantally different.

Anubis would have been at least a strong as a pryor. And in the beginning of the war was all the Ori could do was send the pryors, they couldnt affect the milky way galaxy without establishing a following. And anubis retained the knowledge he had while ascended. So the Ancients could have givin him cut him some slack as long as he used that knowledge to battle the Ori.

The Aincents constructed the STARGATE and related technology...the Ori only know how to use it because they ascended. Did you even watch Ark of Truth? The aincent who 'invented' stargates left the Ori galaxy with the rest...so,how could Ori know about Stargates?

The Alterrans and the Ori were THE SAME RACE with only different beliefs. There is absolutely NO reason to assume that Ori technology is in any way inferior to Lantian tech. The Ori do have Ring transporters and they do have Stargates. As Daniel said "Ascension does not make you all-knowing".

The Ancients and the Ori were the same race, but only until a certain point when the ancients left. In the Ark of Truth it is suggested that the stargate was at the time only a design on an ancient notebook. Hence the Ori developed this technology eventually, prior to ascension, or found about it after the ascension(more likely).

There are two themes from early seasons that are used for the Ori. One is the battle theme, which was introduced in the episode Thor's Hammer.
The other is the religious theme, which was used in the episode Demons (which wasn't the episode that introduced Sokar, by the way).

I have to disagree. The wraith had numbers on their side, granted. However, considering the ori grow in numbers (followers etc) who are willing to die for the ori..plus the personal shield carrying priors..i'd put my money on the ori.
Ori ship vs wraith hive/cruiser = ori will always win.

You are right, the Ancients that were fighting the Wraith had not yet ascended and were peaceful (not focused on weapons research). Where as the Ori who would fight the Wraith are ascended and have vast knowledge of the workings of the universe to make their armies and ship almost invincible and very destructive. The Ori "Toilet" ships were just version 1, think of what they could have come up with if they had a few years and converted followers with more advanced construction technology.
