Being the good techy that I am, I pressed the upgrade available button in the hopes of those last minute bug fixes that always come along with 1.0 devices. As soon as it restarted it I knew that this box was going to be returned to Amazon.com soon. The interface was completely destroyed in this 1.0 update! The intuitiveness of the old interface was gone, to be replaced with can only be called crapware!

i like this boxee, its simpler and doesn't restrict the features as appose with appltv and google tv, sony tv. and all that crap. there is the xbmc code in the unit its' going to do things that no other authorized appliance is suppose to do.

I just downloaded the software onto a windows 7 64bit computer and the video doesn't work, ( no picture) and it has problems with the audio locking up. Not the most user friendly interface either. No on screen  volumn control on music player if playing on computer.

works fine on my windows 7 64bit, everything that works on vista will work on 7. He's probably missing a gfx driver, or has a sluggish cpu, or a bogged down W7 installation. Boxee is very stable, as all its software is comprised of other, stable, open software. The box will be ready

You can play movies from any network attached storage device as long as your file format doesn't use DRM.

The design of the box is terrible. How the F am I gonna fit that into my entertainment unit. They couldn't just stick to the normal box format so it could sit and play nicely with all my other home theater equipment, F!!!
