There are a hundred ways to make a press...but without micro registration you are walking backwards.

I have built nearly 2000 screen print presses. Registration is where you START...not what you end up WITHOUT...when you are done. (:

@sonottiny38 Long story short, its the process to make sure the colors line up correctly. think of a dart board made with screen printing, if the registration is off the colors might accidentally over lap or there might be gaps. IF all your doing is 1 color 1 screen prints then its not such a big deal but still its good to have the registration( positioning) correct so you can make prints that look the same

This leaves a lot out - I don't have my own shop yet, but Im looking to start one soon going the economy route - but I've been in screen printing, embroidery, and art for 5 years - there is ALOT to think about even going the economy route - a $60 multi-color press isn't good for much if you don't have a flash unit to dry the printed inks in between prints, unless everything you print is on light enough colored garments that you don't need an underbase...curing the inks? Screens? Squeegees? ...

All of the screws and bolts can be purchased at you local hardware store and are fairly cheap. The knobs are homemade from wood and work the same as any other store bought ones would.
