I agree that the Red Mosque incident was regrettable and shameful for the Pakistani Army to do, but for the comment under this, NEVER EVER AGAIN say that Pakistan deserves another earthquake. Astaghfir-Ullah! In this Masjid incident, a few hundred Muslims were killed. In the earthquake, 80,000 Muslims died.

im so confused at the most confined knowldge what pakistani ppl have, they blindly follow wht media displays. killing innocent women in hijab was it fair? what about women exposing themsleves. the more u exopose the more respect. they are so far away from islam and Quran
Well I am not in favour of Musharraf but what happened in Lal Masjid was unavoidable. there is concrete evidence that the operation was against confirmed terrorists, mostly foreigners.

aneel0, well said. Extremist mullahs are destroying tolerance from our society and promoting hatred and religious disharmony. Lal Masjid was one of the examples. These mullahs would have gained huge power and every second Masjid would have become another Lal Masjid had we not taken action against these fasadi elements. President has saved Pakistan from this growing threat of religious terrorism. Madarsa reforms should be introduced sooner and all madarsa Imams should be government appointees.
Very sad episode, but to be fair they were given months of warning. If it was a normal school how did these students get guns in there?
I don't have any sympathy with them. I would have authorised the operation months earlier. The country suffered months of humiliation due to these thugs.
A country has to impose the writ of law.
The parents should have known what's coming; it didn't happen in a matter of minutes this dragged on for months.

some how...mushraf , didn't really looked for a negotation..he was more into showing his powers ,not only to the country but to the west.
My friend which country will let you go after you kidnapped police officers, ordinary women and foreign nationals other than occupying govt property. He should have been taken out on the first day. Both brothers turned out to be true cowards hiding behind children and asking for safe passage out. One even tried to flee dressed a woman. Let me also add dressing up as a woman is a sin in Islam.
I'd do it all over again to get rid of these half baked terrorists.
I don't know weather you are Muslim or non Muslim but I would like you tell you that 200 Jewish air force pilots are better than you who had refused to attack on Palestinian because they were against the collective punishment.
British Army refused to open fire on Muslim protestors during "Tehreek-e-Azaadi" and French Army thrown off the guns when Genreal Degal ordered to kill opponent students.
I would say Jews Air Force, British Army is better then people like you.
