That Rudy takes credit for the massive drop in crime in NY is indicative of his apparent megalomania. First, I've heard that the numbers are inflated, second, I doubt that victims of NY's increased police brutality would agree that all forms of violent crime are down, and third and most important is the argument put forward by Steven Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner that the legalization of abortion was responsible for the widespread decrease in crime experienced in the US during the 90's.

I am completely against Rudy Giuliani, but am really curious about the glowing softball unedited replay of Hillary Clinton's ad yesterday and then this hard hitting negative coverage of a Republican candidate. I enjoy Veracifiers coverage, but will be disappointed if this kind of bias continues. Republicans aren't the only ones who are corrupt.

I'm feeling the same way about this. There is definitely a push against Guiliani, which is fine but they shouldn't be sparing Hillary either. I won't vote for either candidate and I won't support media, in the mainstream or online, that is biased towards either.

The difference, I think, is that we all understand that an ad is biased for a particular candidate ... it is a different story when an ad says something that slants positive toward its candidate, and when a supposed "tough" political "journalist" read off a lie by a candidate without noting that its a lie.
