In my humble opinion, this version is better and cleaner than the Heifetz version of the Waxman Carmen here on YouTube.

I now have no doubt that this is the best violinist on the planet - the variations were INCREDIBLE (it's considered virtuoso even without them!)

This is definately the best recording on Youtube - before I thought it was Sarah Chang, but there is simply no comparison - Vengerov has brought it to a completely new level!
