There were two large ice warehouses that were struck by lightning and burned in the 1950's.

Some sort of ice-house, long before my time, stood there adjacent to the parking lot. I picked an abundance of huckleberries near to the dam in '87. Caught a rainbow trout, in the stream at the western end of the lake, with my hands as my brother looked-on in '71. Fished in the stream which runs by the road a few times and caught some brook trout there. Your video essay brought all of this rushing back. I've meant to go back there but it's going on 20 years. Thank you.
