  • it always surprise me how people in general just like to complain...its ok to build an opinion, its a right, but with it come the responsability to be realistic and see how solid is based the said opinion...this being said, Nice gadget dude ! you ordered it ? or built it ? ....studied in electronics here , can see a few ways to achieve this effect. !! knowledge is power ! Cheers !

  • You can now pay me 16 seconds of my life -_-

  • what volt is the hdd output on the moptherboard ??

  • @oddha

    6v, 12, 3v, etc~ :)

i dont think it outputs a voltage~ unless i think its the leak voltage like you feel when you touch certain screws or the metal stuff on the HDD~

  • a death star would be so much cooler

  • lol how much memory would a death star size hard drive have XD

  • about 262144 bits :) (you know, the concept of the death star is pretty old :( )

  • haha ya, it needs an upgrade

  • - @ DtCKclan -

It would ONLY need an upgrade if it ran something from Microsoft. Linux never has that problem.

  • same with osx XD

  • @DtCKclan It depends on the technology used. My university has a display of old tech including one of those old hard drives that is the size of a box of bananas and holds 40MB.

  • @DtCKclan OVER 9000! YOTTABYTES THAT IS!

  • Didn't IBM already build a deathstar?

  • haha

  • @bonecrime yea but then a single bird flew into a certain spot and blew it up.

  • nice idea!

  • it would be better for the world if you share the Steps and Diagram to build this.

  • Have a look at one of my movies (the one with the HDD VU meter). There you will find a link to a simular diagram.

  • Woah I so want one, tell us how you made it!

  • Cool, nice idea! It was not so easy to assemble this but ti's worth!

  • LM3914 and capacitor?
