  • Esta música saiu aqui no Brasil com o nome de "Que Fazer Pra Esquecer - The Fevers"

  • this song was inspired by the shuttle challenger disaster, when asked about what his thoughts on the tragedy, mccartney replied "it's really groovy man, i think space is far out"

  • Why does it seem like everyone has seen paul in the flesh but me? One day my hero, one day...

  • @FemmeBaer IT WAS AN AMAZING CONCERT!!

  • Paul told us on monday (o2) that this is Ukraines favourite Paul McCartney song.

  • Had never heard this one before. The single Band on the Run was a radio monster, and Bluebird also got airplay, but I never even heard Let Me Roll It until 1980. I was living a nomadic life then and bought few albums. Thanks for the post.

  • @ImWithThePyr Denver, CO 06/10/10 greatest show i've ever been to

(i've been to a WHOLE lot of shows)

  • In Australia, it also was a single, but on;y got to #37 on the chart. It was Paul's second-last Apple record. Mind you, the fab four really had Apple records to themselves, because for the next two years or so, it was only them (as soloists) to release records on that label!

  • OMFG. I remember the concert in LIMA PERU , FUCK YEAH!

  • Kid Cudi & 88 Keys Made It Ultra Cool

  • I never hear this song till I saw Paul in concert! and it was the funnest song! even if you didnt know it you were jumping around, and singing along<3 most amazing 3 hours of my entire life.

  • ho hey ho..........yeah

  • My official 100th listen to this video!

  • I need to find some lyrics, 'cause the music is cool and I keep wanting to shout "HO! HEY HO!!"

  • All the wood creatures like this song too!!!!

  • Yeh, I think of all of the Beatles, Paul has done the most with all of his music, including his solo, wings, and everthing after that up till now, and today's has one of the best bands I've ever heard doing Beatles songs live in places like Red Square in Russia, New York Shea Stadium. Sir Paul, Is a True Artist and musical genius

  • I saw him last night. Listening to an entire stadium sing along with him feels incredible, especially when you're on the field in front of the stage.

  • i like it!!!

  • HO HEY HO!

    Good ...Good ...Good....!!!

  • @IarinhaCJBM wow! best night of your night!!!!! that must've been great! XD

  • HO HEY HO!

  • I've got to search Helen Wheels next.

  • best bass line ever ever ever

  • This is one of the best bass lines in all rock history. In fact this song maybe the greatest song rarely played on radio. It is 100 times better than Silly Love Songs or Someones knocking at my Door, but you would never know it by the geniuses who run radio. Peace.

  • I experienced Paul live in Mexico 05/28/10, and this is one of the songs that rocked the most!!!

  • esta cancion es lo maximo..gracias paul por venir al peru--!! i miss you

  • love Paul's mullet

  • solo me queda decir lLO MAXINMO PAUL MCACRTNEY

  • me fascina, simplemente me encanta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • me encanta, simplemente me fascina!!!!

  • Нигде не найду видеозаписи с этой песней. Может есть у кого?

  • so good....

  • The coda sounds like Hey Bulldog's.

  • У нас на школьных вечерах в 70-х это играли- ностальгия ПОЛНАЯ!!!!

  • VOX+HOFNER

  • @boliboy2299 Nope, at that period, he used the Rickenbacker.

  • With out a doubt one of my favs... :)

I cant help but bob along throughout the entire song lol

  • You know how great this song sounds in concert?! Incredible!

  • @JulianLennon1

This song is much better when you hear it in concert; it is really a live song

  • @MrVenerus Very true, very true MrVenerus!

  • @JulianLennon1 I know, right? I saw it in new york in july

  • Эту вещь слушал на волнах Голос Америки в 1970годах.Не ожидал найти.

  • Paul's a great songwriter, but don't anyone get carried away saying he's a great bass player.

  • @CityslickCaptain yes he is. very musical. maybe not a lot of chops, but seldom beaten for sheer taste. if you are a bass player, try figuring his stuff out, and imagine how hard should have been to come up with such organic basslines. not a lot of players can do that. of course we ARE talking about rock and roll, so don't expect scott la faro or jaco pastorius.

  • @CityslickCaptain Funny, I consider him a typical "pop" song writer but a prolific bassist.

  • I love Paul, but I can do without Faul. Half the writer Paul was. The wings stuff is awful.

  • @MandyVin17 stop youtubing wings songs then and bore off

  • McCartney bass on this track..proves that he's one of the best bassists in modern or classic rock.

  • когда Пол на фото с негритятами, он похож на Базанова из "Реальных пацанов"

  • McCartney is one of the best bass players in history- I rank James Jamerson of Motown as no.1. These guys made music- like Bill Wyman and Entwhistle. Rush made noise. So did Getty Lee.

  • @auramac i agree j jamerson is number one as a bass player. Mcartney will always be number 2 in my bookl

  • @auramac I highly agree

  • @auramac I wouldnt go as far as to say that! Tom Sawyer, Working Man, Limelight, Spririt of the Radio, Closer to the Heart, Fly by Night & Finding My Way are all great great classic rock songs. NOT NOISE BY NO MEANS! Now the rest of their library i will agree is noise. I like Rush but not a huge fan. But give them some credit. Because Mr. Peart is one of the greatest drum players there is. You have to give credit where credit is due. Alex Lifeson is also a great guitar player too.

  • hëh_ãnyøNé_wÀñnÁ_chàt_wIth_mê_î_fÈEl_sô_lÕNElÿ_tÕÐAy♪

  • @LunaoDyanau807 Youre never be alone, you are the hapiness an you are the pace.

  • Paul may not be one of the best bassist but for his time he was one of the top.

What he did well which can't be disputed is write and his bass playing and many other instruments were done well enough to make Sir McCartney the wealthiest musician for decades, as per guinness book of records.

He is still one of the wealthiest musicians alive and that says a great deal about the mans talent.

  • I think the key thing about Mccartney's bass playing is not so much the technical ability but the sheer innovative nature of his playing. Entwhistle was awesome, Geddy Lee too, and Claypool etc are great exponents of fancy playing. But McCartney played bass on the soundtrack to peoples' lives- All my Loving, with its great scalular bounce; Paperback Writer and Rain feature fantastic inventive playing, and this was 1966!; all accompanied superb songwriting and great singing- amazing.

  • Paul is without a doubt one of the greatest bassists. He was guitar magazines bassist of the year several times. Few people are in Geddy Lee or Les Claypool's league but he's far better than average. He's at least as good as Jones.

  • @Iawson OK, who's better?

  • I love the fact that you can hear Pauls bass in his Wings era stuff

  • I had to come back and listen to this song again today. I love it. Listen to McCartney's bass playing - it is so melodic and brilliant. The fact that McCartney is one of the greatest bass players in rock history is overshadowed by the fact that McCartney is on of the best song writers and singers in all of rock history. Peace.

  • This is a prime example of the brilliance of Paul McCartney. This is one of the greatest little lost gems in all rock history and sadly few people even know about it. If this song was released as a new song today it would be #1 in the world. Peace.

  • It's fun to listen to this song again. It was a single hit in Thailand my country when I was just 12 years old. Thanks for posting.

  • Нигде не могу найти эту песню с видео. Только аудиотрек. Может кто подскажет где можно скачать видеоклип с этой песней или. еще лучше, видеозапись исполнения.

  • SONGS BRING BACK MEMORIES.

  • great song go paul!

  • people, you don't need to diss john in order to say paul is good. especially say that he's only remembered because he died, and that his solo career wasn't very good, that's 1 not true and 2 incredibly ignorant and rude.

they're both great musicians/songwriters, that's why they chose each other to work with in the first place. each has his own style, and i like them both.

  • I play the bass and paul is my hero

  • Awesom base!

  • Ho! He Ho!

  • Yes in deed this is one of the most underrated McCartney songs. I love it. What's the use of worrying? What's the use of hurrying? Ho hey ho! Peace.

  • Certo, sembra una filastrocca innocua e senza pretese che da Paul sembra invece declamare con sopraffina eleganza. Le cose semplici sono le più grandi....E poi o lo ami o lo odi il nostro Macca....

  • I have just found a group on FaceBook entitled 'Paul McCartney is a tosser'.

This was obviously founded by a group of mentally insane basement dwellers who have literally no taste in anything.

    Idiots. Macca IS god.

  • the song is a true gem,the melody the lyrics are so aweome and dont forget the epic bass.Look the whole album has so great bass lines, guitar riffs and melodies, this is one of my favorites if not my favorte

  • The Band on The Run was recording in Africa,

and it became a political thing.

All The Band on The Run wanted was peace and quiet.

Instead, they got followed and so the title.

Im not such a genius, I googled Band on the Run,

    and the story was amazing.

    I had this when it came out,,,,,hoh ! hey-hoh !

Ya, Google it up, read the story, I had no idea till I did either.

You will be smiling after reading it all.

  • @mikemikeyf2011 a heart atack?realy?such a dramma queen,but i still love him!!!

  • Gotta love it :D

  • .

Yes, I heard RAM when it came out, and it was horrible, imo,

especially the idiotic but mainstream best seller "Uncle Albert".

Band on The Run had edge to it, new sounds,

more Beatles sounds executed successfully, imo.

    Ty for responding.

    mmf2011

    .

  • @mikemikeyf2011 ram is incredible..

  • @mikemikeyf2011 Ram is Paul's best post Beatles album IMO. I think it's fantastic, closely followed by Band on the Run, then McCartney.

  • Once the Beatles broke up, this was the closest since.

Lots of "Bealtes" touches in this one.

    What an album !

    Then, and now.

    mmf2011

  • @mikemikeyf2011 That isn't entirely true, you must not of heard RAM which came out two years before this album.

  • No use of worrying if you listen to Macca's music. McCartney everyday= NO STRESS!

  • I wish Paul still played his Rickenbocker bass. His Hofner sounds thin and weak.

  • THE WINGS FOREVER! COME ON PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome song from this album!

  • Ele é maravilhoso em todos os sentidos! Único!

  • *sigh* at the beginning, my friend thought it was from Eminem.

  • The bass is so awesome! Totally drives the song.

  • Paul turned the base into a lead instrument. I love it too

  • @greenwich1754 no it dont its the drum beat ya nob!

  • @MyCasper4 I'll accept the "nob" treatment. Bass/drums; ok, the beat is awesome!! Cheers, & have a beer!

  • @greenwich1754 sorry - to many beers! accept both drums and bass!

  • @greenwich1754 I agree big time with you on the bass thing. This is one of my top three all time favorite WIngs songs. So unappreciated. So many of these great songs are being lost with time. How many kids that are between 12-25 have heard this song. NOT MANY I AM SURE! IF ANY! What a shame too. There is soooooo much great music that is being lost to todays youth. When i was a young teen i loved listening to the 50's & 60's stuff.

  • @greenwich1754 I was just listening to this song and was going to comment on how powerful the bass is in this song. You stole my thunder. But i agree totally drives this song. Man i remember when this album came out in 1973. I was 12 and remember this album vividly. This album and Venus and Mars are such great albums. The best material Paul ever done (solo).

  • @greenwich1754 Best creative bass player evah....

  • @greenwich1754 Ric bass.

  • @greenwich1754 Like every song with Paul.

  • @greenwich1754 That would be Paul himself. i've seen him twice in concert, there is nothing like him!

  • Gezien live in Arnhem. Holland.

Geweldige band en een uitzonderlijk goede drummer.

Zeer van genoten, wordt always happy when I hear this song.

  • I Like it !!!

The track was not issued as a single in the UK or US, but was a single in Continental Europe and Australia in January 1974.

  • mmmm i dunno the status quo must be preserved............like jam!

  • @guy070467

    Can I quote you?

  • THIS IS ALL MAN

  • esta mola verdad''

  • 3:38.. in the background "No abuse"

  • @jokerfan1987

He says "no use" buy band on the run album it has it in the lyrics in the little book.

  • 3:38.. No abuse

  • When the bus has left the stop, you'd better drop your hurrying.

  • this song live is soooooooo much better. especially the Ho, Hey Ho part =D

  • what's the use of worrying?

  • Watch out for those "Cougars" out there Boys!!!!

  • FINALLY I FOUND THIS SONG!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE SONG THAT CONTAINED THE INFAMOUS "HO HE HO" IN ITS CHORUS FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!!!! I ASKED MANY PEOPLE AND THEY JUST CONFUSED THIS SONG'S CHORUS WITH BLITZKRIEG BOP OF THE RAMONES... BUT NOW I'VE GOT IT!!!!

  • @elvengadorcerocho ahhh good times......ive had that with a few songs..its such a relief when you find those annoying ones that you just cant find

  • @elvengadorcerocho You should have asked me!
