I still have somewhere the CD of the game... memories of one of the best games I've ever played.
My favourite stage; I remember to have spent some evenings playing at normal or even higher difficulty -as in those settings, enemy ships came without stop, and given that some of them gave shield boosters you could restore the shields lost by enemy fire-, just to see how many fighters I could destroy before getting tired -several thousands was my mark-.
@UCSPanther20 As a fellow gamer from Australia who fondly remembers playing Terminal Velocity and these sorts of arcade flight sims as a kid, I wholeheartedly agree. I remember when I was staying over at my godparents' place in their then-held Melbourne suburb of Berwick when I was about eight years old a week and I used to sneak onto their PC to play the game without anyone knowing. Kinda kept me sane while staying with those churchies - no offence implied to any such reading.
@UCSPanther20 I agree. We need more stuff like this, because today's American games are trash. Down with CoD3, with Halo, and all that other FPS stuff. This is what deserves true respect.
I'm with you. In addition, I'd love to see how this game would look if recreated with a more modern engine, but with exactly the same gameplay mechanics.

@SoManySkinks
There actually IS a star called Wolf 359, it's not necessarily a trek reference.

@lovetoeatallthefood
CLEARLY you are not familiar with the importance of that location in the 'verse.
Fact: All references to Wolf 359 in fiction are referring to the famous battle with the Borg cube in Star Trek TNG

I used to spend hours playing Terminal Velocity many years ago.
I feel that it, and its descendents Fury3, Hellbender and Descent are all lost classics that deserve more respect.

Jep, ja vielä aikaan nähden. Tätä peliä tuli silloin joskus v. 96-99 pelailtua ja paljon. Pelin musiikki tuo hyvät ajat mieleen.
